i do this all the time
i found this song a year ago doing the same thing. i was on a roadtrip to tennessee for a film and it dropped on my youtube feed. I played it in the most remarkable of places and thought what it would have been like if i could drop everything, marry the love of my life and settle down in that town i was driving through. Just another summer daydreamer anthem.
This song makes me crave memories I haven’t even created yet, while simultaneously reminiscing past ones.
Even as an instrumental, I can’t help but sing along, the echo of his voice there always makes me cry. Makes me somewhat at ease thinking of them partying forever in the Harvey house, their own little heaven, yet the video is almost too eerie and thinking about the afterlife and the like.
i originally made this just so I could use it for karaoke at a friend’s party, but I’m pleased to find that other people have appreciated this 🤍

This song reminds me of a warm summer time driving in the middle of nowhere with windows down hair blowing on your face with your lover driving on the left side looking at you smiling
The fact you can still sort of hear the voices because they are still in the background but their sound channels are just nearly muted is incredibly annoying to me, idk why it just pokes my brain in the wrong places
because an official instrumental was never released, I had to manually edit out the vocals myself, so there’s no inherent way for the vocals to be completely removed unless the official instrumental were to be released. this was my first instrumental attempt, so I apologize that it’s not perfect, but if it irks you that much then the good thing is you are not entitled to listen to it :)
