    • @bryantfox1062
      @bryantfox1062 11 месяцев назад

      @tracychampion you're 100% correct !!!! These guys get so caught up in how great Michael Jordan was that they disrespect the greatness of others ( the two centers that you mentioned) Bill Russell and Wilt Chamberlain are Mount Rushmore material, and these guys don't even know, or acknowledge , that when he retired in 1987 , Dr.J enshrined himself ( when you add his ABA and NBA points) on the 30,000 point plateau in the Philadelphia 76ers very last home game (in 1987) along with the greatest centers to ever play basketball 🏀 Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul Jabbar. But you youngsters don't know your basketball. Now today, Dr.J is #8 all time ,on the scoring list. Yes Michael Jordan , when his career ended, did score more points than Dr.J, but my point is, that you have to respect and regard the influence of Dr.J on Michael Jordan, and the game of basketball.

It was even 1 of his 4 or 5 plays that were nominated for an Espy that year, which happened to be the same year that every play that was nominated for NBA play of the year was a Michael Jordan play... Jordan had a lot of power dunks in the 91-92 season such as @15:46 Because you didn't see the same powerful dunks from him the rest of his career after this. I think that's what led him to having wrist problems in 1993. Though he did have a few power dunks with the LEFT hand in 92-93. I suspect he tried to dunk harder because that may have been the knock on him vs. Dominique in the dunk contest: that Jordan didn't have the same power as Wilkins. And he tried to overcompensate.

    • @AnHebrewChild
      @AnHebrewChild Год назад

      Interesting theory. I think the most powerful MJ dunk is one that was after the whistle (didn't count for 2) in game 5 of the 92 playoffs vs Cavs.
      "Jordan played on a switch by Sanders"
      absolutely VICIOUS.
      Whatever the reason, Jordan def had more power dunks in 92 than any other season.
