I make low carb pancakes that way. Hard whip the whites, mix the yolks with melted butter and a bit of carb quick, vanilla extract, enough heavy cream to get a thick consistency, fold in whites, cook as regular pancakes. About one carb per large pancake.

Because of your comment, I did whisk the egg whites separately. I probably didn't fold it properly as I then added the spread (and 1 tsp baking powder) to the bowl with the whisked eggs. I whisked some more then added the yolks. They rose nicely, probably because of the baking powder as opposed to my lack of folding skillz. 😆
@@AccioPadfoot12 It might work better if you mix everything together except the egg whites first and then fold in the whites last so you don't break them down much.

It sinks in the center because of humidity. Place the loaf pan in a large baking bag with about an inch of warm water. It will help keep the loaf bake and stay high. It is a water bath used for cheesecakes. Works!!!
I believe that if after cooking the cake you leave it in the oven, just turn off the heat and prop the oven door open an inch or two (like with a wooden spoon), the center of the cake won't deflate so badly. Looked delicious! Thank you, Mayra.

Oh, Miss Mayra, I've gotten so many wonderful keto recipes off your channel, I can't even begin to count them all. This cake-loaf is going to be among my favorites, I can already see that, and I look forward to making it very soon. I did make a batch of chocolate cottage cheese ice cream yesterday, but I added a whole avocado to it, using the suggestion of Dr. Anita Boswell (she said she makes herself a frozen treat that is just an avocado, sweetener (stevia for her), cocoa powder and heavy whipping cream. No recipe, but I make my own keto ice cream all the time, so figured it out). It turned out to be a very thick, fabulous avocado-chocolate-coffee pudding that absolutely made my day! (I got impatient waiting for it to freeze, so ate it as pudding). Now I'm going to make a straight-up batch of cottage ice cream with raspberries in it, no avocado this time. I can hardly wait for it to be ready to eat!

Back after making this. I made 'truffle/brownie bites' I suppose you'd call them, instead of a loaf, using my mini donut maker and some mini muffin pans. This recipe with the walnuts, no chips, made 69 bite sized treats at 49 calories apiece (no net carbs, 1 protein, 4 fat). Adding the walnuts on top also worked fine in the donut maker. I used 4 eggs and 296 grams of the spread (to make 8 oz). I also added a tsp of baking powder and they rose great. The ones I took directly out of the oven - after 17 min) and shocked the temperature fell - the ones I let cool as the oven cooled down did not. Those were in a ceramic pan and they were easy to remove. I do not recommend my metal mini muffin tin - gonna get rid of that sucker. Taste is absolutely wonderful - but I would not call it 'easy' - not the way I did it spooning batter into tiny crevices. I was just afraid I couldn't cut the loaf into small servings. The Choczero hazelnut spread is delicious but as an ingredient it's exactly like trying to work with full-on GLUE. (before adding the eggs) So if you're planning on going with the Choczero, measure it directly into your mixing bowl - don't put it in another bowl first - it's difficult to scrape out and get it all. (Side bonus - you get to lick your fingers though) The jar said 12 oz but by the time I got the 8 oz out of it there was barely anything left. No way would that have been another 4 oz. At the price of the spread, I doubt I'll make this again - there are cheaper ways to make brownie bites. But it was fun today!
I too would like to know some weights in grams please. Cup seems to only be some weird American unit of measurement that doesn't travel so well to places with varying sizes of cups.

If my 62 years of baking and cooking have taught me anything, it's that there is always a substitute for those who have to have them. I have multiple allergies and food sensitivities that preclude me from following every recipe I'd like to make, so I always manage to figure out what to sub, and how to make the end product be not just palatable, but downright delicious. I like Nutella and will get the sugar-free alternative, but if I couldn't use it, I'd start with something like sunflower butter in the same proportion as this recipe. If I was so fussy that I couldn't/wouldn't use that, then I'd use either almond butter or peanut butter---I dislike pb, but I do make wonderful treats with it and I eat them because of their nutritional value. A low value, to be sure, but well within the keto range. There's always some way of changing up a recipe, ALWAYS!

I love your videos and would agree with you that the LMNT mixes are worth the money. However, your sponsor Thrive is another story. On your suggestion, I went there to sign up. Having been in business for 50 years (35 different ones) I take offense to their business model. You are forced to sign up and pay before you can browse the products. Just for you I went thru the process and then started shopping. I didn't find anything that I couldn't get at Costco or at other local stores as cheap or cheaper. Then you try to cancel your "subcription', I finally had to threaten a lawsuit or fraud charges to get them to make the cancelation. I don't hold anything against you for using them as a sponsor. As always protecting your brand should be your foremost thought. I've been very successful and don't think that you need to use that business model. Of course, if you are run out of China, that's another story. Good luck and keep trucking.

Not gonna lie girl, I love you to death, but I know damn well this isn’t good. Anytime I’ve ever tried your “2 ingredient” anything it’s been so gross, ESPECIALLY things involving chocolate. Love the commitment though.
Same 😢 I've wasted A LOT of my low carb ingredients on her desserts. Stick to meals and snacks. The desserts are mostly fails.
I don't bother making any of them, you could have saved the eggs and just eaten the hazlenut spread . It didn't even look cooked or cake

And she doesn’t even need to go simple, her full-on keto desserts already beat most people online, it doesn’t need to be simplified. My husband and I LOVED her coffee cake.
