#FANTOM-0
big thanks for all news tuto about fantom 👍👍👍
Another very helpful Fantom-0 video! Many thanks for these.
Thank you for this very helpful explanation! Just a comment: the importance of scene remain setting is great, but I was finding troubles because of the sound interruption while changing from a tone to another within the same scene. I think that changing the tone (for example using keyboard switch group pads) keeping the former sound on is more frequent than changing the scene keeping sound on. This is not explained in the video, and I found subsequently that the thing I was looking for is a setting called "Tone remain", in my opinion is more important than "Scene remain".
I use my fantom as a slave. When I'm playing a scene with sequences in it and I move to another scene it stops. So it's out of time with all my other gear. Which means I have to stop and start everything for the fantom to be in time again. It's a major draw back considering all my other Roland gear allows to move from one bank to another with out stopping.
Is there a function that I can enable that will not stop the sequencer when I change scenes so I can carrying on with the set I'm playing?
Ed can you do a how to video on sequencing a song from start to finish using the scene parts?
Ed, Scene remain doesn't work on my Fantom 07. I changed the parameter in GENERAL and saved it. What am I doing wrong? Also I want to change my Start Up Scene. That doesn't work either...
Correction, Scene Remain works on some scenes but not on others. I got the Start up scene feature to work...
I noticed that Scene Remain does not work with VTW...
There's a bug in scene remain in the Fantom-0. It doesn't work every time with every scene.
Scene remain does also not work with the VTW sounds. I found that a bit of a downer.
If the scene remain is off and you play a chord using the sostenuto pedal and switch to a new scene, does the chord cut off during the switch or does it ring through?
Does "scene remain" continue to work when another PAGE is selected?
Hi..Why having latency on quickly changing scene ? After quickly changing scene the next scene takes micro seconds latency and missing notes to play meantime. ( not going seamlessly as it should)Same problem while using SCENE CHAIN mode also…Thanks
Could anyone please help with this? Thanks
Scene Remain is Global. Am i right? That means i have 3 Songs that need that Feature, i have to set the whole system to 8 Tracks and can not use the other tracks for the rest of the setlist?! Bummer
Time stretch please then I’ll buy one thanks! An update the verselab!
I have a Fantom 7 but the “scene remain” I don’t have that in the menu?
I have the same problem with Fantom 8…have you already realised how to fix it?Thanks a lot!Tomas
I don't have scene Remain in my F8 either. However I've noticed that the tail of a sound remains after I have selected another scene.
My big problem is that why does my F8 have stop sequencing when ever I select another scene? This really does mess up my sets because the sequences are important. So I have to stop absolutely everything to make the F8 in sync again. This is a major draw back to the "Flag Ship" synth, and if I had known this I wouldn't have bought it!!
Can we use footswitch to select the scene?
Yes, INC+ and "system" selected in the menu using the control switch. But during the transition from scene 1 to 2 the spund gets glitchy for 2 deconds until it settles in the new sound, unless you work with keyboard switch groups [where ypu can't use the pedal anymore unless it's an advanced MIDI pedalboard, but no longer the switcher pedal
But, how to do long scene? because we have only 8 parts!!
very bad keyboard fantom 6 and ex please dont purchase
