Always love a good 90s Time Traveler video
3:34 I didn't know that. Why did he do that?
Bc men love to base worth on how long their flesh hose is for some ungodly reason
Over 1% of the global population signed up to Threads within a week and somehow I had no idea it even existed until this video.
this is my main news source, it always has so much useful information
I watch this to get caught up on what's going on
also CANADA WAS THE ONE ON FIRE?!?! THE SMOKE DELAYED TWO OF MY FLIGHTS AND ALMOST CANCELED ONE
2004 was a wild year indeed
Just understanding how stupid everything is has given Ryan a career...that's awesome! 😂
Can’t think of a joke but I love your videos man, Time travel ones are awesome. Keep up the great work.
this is my favorite segment you do.
I don't know how to say this, but I am from the future. And I am telling you, your channel will continue to entertain tens of millions of people!!
Why is it the only RUclipsr courteous enough to put their adds at the end of the sketch is also the only one that makes them entertaining enough to watch them anyways? Thank you Ryan for all you do!
Information rectangles always makes me laugh
Every time I feel like I’m just cynical, but watch a Ryan George video, it makes me laugh, and feel validated
What's really crazy to think about is all the kids and Z-ers who think this crap is normal. If any of you are reading this, IT'S NOT. This is the culmination of decades of maladministration and corrupt governance.
The "The 90s Talk Show" is where I get a lot of my news from. I learned so many things today.
I have never heard of "threads" until now. Ryan George is also an education channel apparently!😂
Ryan George’s clone time traveling to 1997. That’s the year I graduated high school. I really like the Ryan interviewer’s hat. It’s like the Fanny Pack I used to wear. I like that Ryan pays attention to fine details.
1:55 This is the best part
The nostalgia for the 90s is real.
Huh, good to know, I thought it was fake.
Anything pre-social media was a better time.
@@RS-ls7mm Ehh, there are some things that are genuinely better today. However, the 90's were marked by techno-optimism. Technology kept progressing, we got better gadgets all the time, cool stuff was becoming affordable, and we had this new way of meeting interesting people from all over the world. We were so naive back then, we didn't expect all of this being used to erode our hard-won rights, such as the right to privacy. We couldn't imagine this new collaborative platform called the Internet being turned into a combative platform by companies deliberately making people's lives objectively worse for profit.
@@EvenTheDogAgrees I mean keeping your privacy is quite easy on the internet, just don't use it.
@@tankredcaza 🤦♂How could I have missed this simple solution? Thank you, good sir, forever in your debt! 😂
I will never get tired of this series 😇😇
This is the best reporting I’ve seen in decades!
hearing ryan sing his own outro song was something i didn’t know i needed
Truth. Caught me with sudden giggles.
It's been a while since we had one of these. At the rate the world is dumbing down, by 2030 Ryan will have to make only this series, 1 each day to keep up
Exactly 😂
At least with 90s nostalgia in full swing, reporter guy can feel at home despite all the nonsense going on
I'm an adult old enough to drink, yet I was born after 9/11 in 2002 so I can't relate to any 90s things like this 🤣
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 It's fine. All you need to know about any decade is that:
-The kids were bratty
-People cared more about pop culture than world events
-"It was the last good decade"
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 If you lived in most of the west, and weren't dirt poor or a locally discriminated against minority, the 90s was a pretty good time to be around.
Otherwise... decidedly more debatable. A surprising amount of the Good things about the present day were only just getting off the ground then, too.
We all laugh at the concept of someone reporting 30 years in the future, but what would it be like for us if we had someone reporting 30 years in the future. Honestly, I'd be a little nervous to watch.
"So yeah, everyone has decided that we're going to blow up Mars."
"Like, the candy bar right, not the actual planet, right?"
"Nope! everyone just decided unanimously that they hated Mars all of a sudden, so now we're gonna blow it up. That'll be a thing."
"Ohh ho my gosh, the future is crazy and unhinged."
"I know, tell me about it. Please let me come home now."
"Sorry, but that time machine is still broken, so tell us more about how they plan to blow up Mars, please."
This is hands down my favorite format on this channel!
This is my favorite form of news consumption. Please make these weekly
My favorite series of all time
I would’ve quit and removed myself from all timelines if I was the Time travelling reporter😭😭
"hey paid 44 billions and it currently worth a third of that" I keep hearing that on a loop and smiling
Why? Is your life that miserable?
Btw. it's mostly just because of the Fed funds rate, all tech stocks collapsed last year, and only the largest ones recovered yet.
@@andrasbiro3007 oh I don't know might be because I don't see that asshole for the gods that some people do since he didn't invent shit, all he actually did was market what he bought for example Tesla was not invented by him. Not to mention he's a transphobic even though his son is trans so yeah lots to admire about an absolute fraud
Whelp, he did it. Ryan has official got me here for the ads and I just sit through the sketch waiting for the ads. Not that the sketch isn't funny, but MAN those ads get me every time
