How you all feeling about GCSE Mocks? And if you've already had them, how did they do?
ive done about half of them, got a few more to go
All I know is that I got a grade 9 in maths :)
i did pretty terrible in my IGCSE mocks, but then in the actual May/June exams this year, i did ok i guess! Got 4 A's and 3 B's. Right now im doing my AS preparation.
I got 5s and 6s in everything and a 4 (1 mark from a 5) in History, I’m quite disappointed but it’s okay because I didn’t really do any good revision, mainly just the night before plus art took over everything. I’ve started revising every night now to try to get even better results in February🤞

What basic strategy would you prefer for IGCSE Biology calculation questions and experiment questions. Recently got my bio mocks and I have done some blenders in calculation and experiment type question.

I had my mocks very early, start of November. I got two 8s (Maths, which I was 6 marks of off a 9 in 😔, and English Language), four 7s (English Lit, Phsyics, Chemistry, and Geography) and four 6s (Biology, History, French, and Religious Studies). Overall I think I did ok, but my parents don’t think the same.

I'm focusing on making all my anki flashcards cards for science & geography this Christmas Holiday & after I'll start doing them everyday and couple them with exam practise until exams. What do you think of this method and what grades would it get me if I do it properly?

Hey man, have you got discord or an email. I'm really struggling with my languages (aqa french) im getting grade 4s for all speaking writing and the rest of them at mocks. I really wanted to aim for grade 8 or 9 since I know I'm capable in other subjects. But french I feel like crying literally. All my teachers saying you can aim for grade 6 but I was wondering if you could perhaps help me out :/

@@AbdullahKhan15 in writing i scored grade 4 same as the rest. And i feel like I have to learn the entire French to get above a grade 4..... i feel like there is no time for me to improve and I don't know what a good response is in writing. I get that you have to include your tenses apres avoir etc. But im not executing correctly.
And for listening i feel so dumb. I can never understand. RUclips videos keep telling me to watch movies or sound tracks but that takes up alot of revision time.

@Yeet Feet 3 We have 3 a day quite frequently. It’s the fact that it’s the 3 most writing heavy papers that got me worked up.

How do I take notes from cgp textbooks? at 2:42 you were using a science textbook and cognito, what notes did you take? and how do i actually take useful notes from a textbook?
I have currently been using seneca for science and copying down the notes from it and making flashcards
I don’t make notes, I just memorise key points from the CGP book because I feel like that’s sufficient.
