Congrats and nice attempt at your first video! Just a note, voltage selection isn't a matter of opinion in relation to the longevity of the UPS up-time during an outage 😬.. it's a matter of the voltage and current of your device loads i.e. you need to check the nominal working input voltage(s) on your device(s) and then select the appropriate voltage on the UPS which corresponds with the working input voltage of your device (load). Might be a good idea to read the user's manual after all 😉 All the best!
@@allyson1691 Hi. Do check your wifi Router, which will guide you on what voltage input your router requires. I use 12v as my router states and that helps the ups to run a lil longer than one expected.
Can you please educate me on how to decide this? I have this same UPS brand and read that I need to choose my voltage wisely so I don't blow my router. Need help please!
@terriabrahamse9509 hi, it's using the a ups voltage ⚡️ might cause the UPS to run low quicker. But please check your router and that will guide you on what voltage your router requires.
Hi I'm glad you got help. Usually, any electronic device with a burning scent could mean the device is faulty. I would advise you to either return the package 📦 or buy a new device, if out of warranty.
Hi 👋 No, it doesn't. There's air ventilation to prevent the device from heating up. But if it keeps heating up abnormally then you can take it to get it back to where you bought it and get it checked, especially if it's still under warranty.
Hi Hope you good and thank you for watching. Do check if your router is working without using the Ups ( if it works), and then try using the wifi UPS with the router. I'm sure you'll determine where there fault is.

How do I - a noob - figure out the nominal working input voltage of my wifi for example pls? The manual doesn’t explain how to do that.
@@allyson1691 Check the label on your device and / or the power adaptor...

In such videos you need to inform viewer how long the ups can power up the 2 routers or more than one device thank you
But is it really 12000 mah? I don't think so
This video was very helpful, thank you

Hi, do you know how I can plug the rain router? I am struggling.
Im not sure about the Rain router, however, the router power cable is replaced with WiFi Ups cable, and most of the ups cables are very short.
@@Bieslie I eventually figured it out. Thank you.
Can someone explain how to connect it to the router, cause we bought the exact same one but i have no idea how to connect anything
Hi Eulan.
