But several month later, I see ascended heroes is just a way of giving us the same heroes again and again (like "legendary bis"), not mentioning that among 11 ascended we got only 1 man... One of my biggest disappointment.

Almost every unit after the F!Edelgard banner had an "counter" (most counters still lost tho) and she is a big reason why null followup is so big i think. Also she gets destroyed by the new brave banner, and also the old refined brave units like Dimitri can double on defense, Claude can double on offence, and Edelgard is very sturdy with guard to stall and can hit hard back. Example because they did not have a chance before refine, and also from 3H
Variants of Bulwark were on Askr and male Shez. also you're 100% right about the rearmed and ascended clogging banners. Banners used to have personality and now we have 1 slot filled with a female alt we already have units of for ascended, and another slot which could be an OC, or another female alt of someone we have too much of for rearmed. Now we have only 2 slots for new heroes, one 5 star and a demote. it's a bit lack luster and these characters should be spaced out like harmonic and duos are on seasonals.

Yes, you are right. If we go by CYL, Tiki takes up 3 character slots actually. One having 6(7) versions, another 2 where the third was just a f you to the players for not voting for the young version, and the third variant doesnt have any representation.

But they didn't actually reduce the quantity, heck they increased it, before it was the 4 new characters in the banner from a game and the GHB from the same game, now it's 1 OC, 1 character alt from a game, 2 new characters from said game and 1 GHB from that game, the pace is faster now, which just boggles my mind.

IS doesn't have to include a new character to the 3-4 pool, a la ricken or elise. at least we can say that this give IS a bit more leeway when it comes to new character banners for games that are pretty much almost depleted, like awakening, for brand new main series games, and everything in between.

Thing with ascendants and rearmed characters taking up slots is this is what happens when the game has been around as long as it had you even said it yourself that fe 1/3's character roster isn't intresting so the logic behind them is to get something to get the banner to sell since we have long past all the exicting characters being added from most games. I imagine when engage comes out their banners will be rearmedless and ascendantless for a while.

Bruh... did we really need Ascended Tiki? I gave a pass to A!Celica out of pure bias, but I have to agree with everyone who critiqued it. These should be for characters without Legendaries, if not just units who have few alts or none at all. Including Adult and alts, this is the ninth form of Tiki (tenth counting Resplendent), which is more than any character besides Robin and Corrin, and that's only when counting male and female forms together. IMO it should've been Ascended Hardin as a representative between Shadow Dragon and New Mystery, making him stand out lore-wise since it's technically the middle of his story. Then add BOTH Nyna and Elice on the banner, because the older sister of the main protagonist of the first FE game should not be immediately relegated to the 3/4-star pool. I'm not even a big fan of any Archanea characters. And I agree, they should have either Ascended or Rearmed characters on a banner, not both. It makes me apprehensive that the next Tellius banner will have Ascended Elincia, a FEH OC, then Geoffrey and Lucia, with probably Makalov as the GHB. No Kieran. Not to mention all the other cool characters they'd be avoiding, like Mycen, Sin, Marcus, Giffca, Tauroneo, Fuga, and Hanneman. Sorry about the rant, but I'm not a fan of this banner.

I like ganglot’s Inheritance because I’m pretty sure if you have DC, QR3, and Distant Guard 3 (common skills) you can take all her important skills including the weapon

As HUGE Vero fan I'm still holding onto hope for the legendary banner. But yeah because of those datamines I'm definitely a little nervous; she's on the icon for christ's sake.
