It was and is funny. But it still manages to make me feel just a bit uncomfortable because it seemed a little serious.
The fact that Greg is so tall and towered over James made it that much more intimidating/funny 😂

My favorite thing about James that series was the little call backs he did as a genuine fan of the show.
"Is the a boulder?" during his made up song was something Frank Skinner was asked in the first series, that one popped me.

James eyeing Alex at the beginning of every task is THE best bit ever on this show. The kid knows when the envelopes there, Alex isn't anyone's friend.

I really would like to know if any fellow Americans out there are as obsessed with these Channel 4 shows and specifically James Acaster as I am. I found James through his 4 episode Netflix special two years ago and really, really enjoyed it. To the point where a whole genre of my youtube feed is James Acaster videos. However, he has a criminally low amount of content on streaming, two specials and one is only available to buy. I need more like yesterday! If anyone has any suggestions of perhaps overlooked British stand ups like James, or know of some underground Acaster content, please feel free to chime in! All that to say, the British own comedy television and game shows and it's not close.

I just barely got into him too. I’m an American from Texas. But yeah, British comedy is just too good. I will probably never find American comedy as good because we’re a little sensitive when it comes to swearing on television and that is what makes British comedy so special. They genuinely don’t give a fuck
I find it entertaining not so much because its funny, but because its much different than I'm used to. The obvious bad production quality, and the random, pretty unfunny jokes, but good enough to keep me here, it all just comes together in what I would personally call an entertaining show.
I'm in the same boat. Cold Lasagna Hate Myself 1999 is definitely worth paying for! And you might like 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown! All the episodes are on RUclips.

Jessica Knappett shouldn't be relegated to voicing ads & making appearances on lame game shows. Had Drifters been popular, she'd be doing much better than she is. Why wasn't Drifters popular? It's a female twentysomething Inbetweeners & is just as good.

UK is a small market. Not many opportunities there. I think she has done well enough. I’m from Canada and I know who she is, and admire her and her work.
Drifters is a funny show but it isn't anywhere near as good as The Inbetweeners.

I love him so much, I as misbehaving 44 yr old relate to him so much. 😅 But to my defence, my whole family is like that. My 65-70 yr old teenaged uncles are a proof of that. My great great grandfather was so misbehaved that my great great grandmother eventualydivorced him for it, and her family really disliked him because of his naught joking behaviour.
