This is the most insane boss battle I've ever seen. The special effects, the huge variety of extremely satisfying combat moves, the insanely cool slow mo effect, the way the camera moves after a strong blow to the opponent, the theatrical splendor, the apocalyptic atmosphere, the music, the emotion. This is an absolute masterpiece. Kudos to Insomniac Games for restoring my faith in the gaming industry

This boss fight was more epic than the Doc Ock boss fight. Literally blockbuster movie level. Loved playing this game. Even on PS4 it looked great. Cant wait to get my ps5 to play it again on ultimate difficulty. Died 3 times during this fight tho on amazing....can only imagine Ultimate difficulty
It was such an improvement. The music was awesome. Tinkerer's miracle tech was better than Ock's arms. Also, this fight felt like an episode. Because nothing was repeating. Different areas, new abilities each time, the damage to the building didn't heal magically.
I actually found this one much easier than the rhino one on spectacular as that took me a few tries to get it. I'm glad they increased the difficulty from the first game . Imma try ultimate after this
Phin is such a freaking fool! I’m glad Miles taunted her back and he is right she never started to listen the second even before he didn’t tell her identity, and her brother Rick would hate seeing her becoming just like Kriger. She’s supposed to be a genius but obviously she’s not as smart as Miles or Peter Parker are if he was here.
Yeah I felt the same about her tbh. I can definitely see where they were going with her character but she just didn't really click for me. That said, it was good character development for Miles.

I think Phin should've been given more depth as a character. She's not badly written, she's a very competent villain for Miles to face, but I felt like I was only invested in her character because of how Miles was viewing her as someone important to him, if that makes sense. I cared because he cared, not necessarily because she was a compelling character on her own merits. Regardless, this final boss fight is just incredible.
Well she tries to stop Simon while killing random people. she controls the underground yet she chooses to attack feast drivers for no reason when they have nothing to do with Simon AND the underground killed thousands of random people she even ambushed rio’s rally and could have killed innocent people that did nothing

Anyone notice how similar The Tinkerer is to Spiderverse's Prowler? Purple motif; jet jumps; wall running; large, spider-whacking mechanical gauntlets; knows Miles. She's more like the Spiderverse Prowler than even his counterpart in this game!
Finished this on ultimate difficulty in new game plus and she was a handful. Dodging is important and every once in a while use the gadgets especially the remote mine because that will stun her so you can make your combos.
Imagine a game where depending on how you fought the boss and defeated them changes the outcome slightly. Mikes beats his friend flawlessly meaning that the cutscene would’ve been different or if he struggled just barely defeating the boss then this would’ve been the outcome

I actually prefer THIS version of The Tinkerer a lot more than the original one. It has nothing to do with the fact that this is a black female, and not a white man. Rather, when it comes to genious villains, I prefer those who can both invent AND FIGHT on their own, instead of those who just invent, and rely on drones or other villains to fight for them. Plus, This Tinkerer has some legit backstory as a villainess.
After this Peter will probably study all the crime going on, all the businesses opening, how many Avengers are in town, and all the other strange stuff going on; and come up with the percentage of something bad happening before he goes on vacation again.
The environmental damage the real time suit damage just a damn good boss fight absolutely smokes first spidernans boss fight...more of this in the sequel PLEASE
Replaying this on Ultimate NG+, and this shit is fucking HARD AF. I can barely manage to keep 1 venom bar, and when i have 2, i have to use one for health. And on the topic of health, it's always around 1 hp
Played the entire game on spectacular. Didn't die at all the entire play through (because I played ps4 spider man on the same difficulty at the start) got pretty good. This girl gave me 4 deaths. 😔
