I totally agree with sending cards out. I'm a newby to Cardmaking I had to give up my fulltime employment to care for my disabled son being at home mum I had to find something to keep me occupied and as I am also a giver I decided that I would do cardmaking as my ministry work to send out to Local Retirement Homes for the Elderly especially the medical wards as well as Terminal Ill patients who are in hospital. I have been watching a lot of your tutorials and that of K. Werner and Gina K as of this minute I have ordered left over kits off FB to get my skills up and I anticipate to start sending out cards once my equipment arrives but for now practicing with just Cardstock, Glitters, Inks, etc... I am soooo excited. I just wanted to Thank You for these tutorials because what I learn I will be giving to the Elderly and the Sick very soon. God Bless

Your cards which were created with such ease were done so professionally as was the video taping of the sequence. I very much appreciate that no time is wasted on your videos, showing the process of you hunting for supplies, or hmm humming around. You are very clear about what you are going to present and then go right to filming the presentation. This make your blog and RUclips videos a pleasure to watch and easy to master techniques presented. Thanks so much for sharing.

I tried this technique and this is what I found out I did wrong. I didn't have a wood background stamp and used a red rubber stamp. First, I didn't apply enough spray to it. The second one, not enough pressure on the entire stamp. What worked for me - after I sprayed the stamp, I placed it on the paper inside of my Misti - closed the lid and had a nice even pressure image and it came out perfect! A book on top of the stamp would do the same thing. I have had Perfect Pearls for about 7 years or more, Distress Inks since they hit the market and never used either of them. This year I promise myself to use every product I have ever bought before I ever buy a new one:) With your help, I will fulfill this promise to myself- thank you!

Jennifer this technique is never old. I mean it is as beautiful today as it was the first time you did it. Some things are timeless and a beautiful simple card done so beautifully is never old. I do know what you mean but to me this card will always be a breath of fresh air. It's is beautiful in it's simplicity. Thank you Jennifer...I loved this video and now I know what I can do... love you for your sharing. pat

I totally LOVE this technique and made several yesterday but with a bit of a twist...after stamping with both plain water and also shimmer mist. I let everything dry completely then, using my stamp positioner I restamped the images using the oxide ink that I had covered the paper with. The result looks as though the paper was embossed. Really awesome technique Jennifer, thank you so much for sharing!!!

Hi Jennifer ~ As always, your video was wonderful. You always add in nice tips and "tricks" to make our cards extra special. While this technique may be an old one, I've never seen it before and will try it tomorrow (after I watch my METS win tonight's game!!). I like to add a little touch to my envelopes as well and the silver glitter hearts and strip at the bottom add a nice finishing touch to your card. Thanks for sharing your talent with the rest of us paper crafters.

Jenn--would love to win the Peony and Dahlia stamps. Can't find the comment list for my entry to win. So here's my favorite tried/true stamping technique which you asked for: Mask off a 2" or so horizontal or vertical band; sponge on color; stamp main image on and/or beyond the band. Eezy peezy!

I just made many attempts at your card idea. They are not turning out like yours! Does it matter what type of card stock? Weight? I heavily inked the card stock I have, but i am not getting uniform definition like you get. I am also not getting a bright image like you have. I love your videos and projects.
