I was searching on RUclips for a good rendition of this piece. I have seen performances on organs with 5 keyboards, and tens or more than a hundred registers. The piece was often so over-arranged the original or traditional melody could hardly be recognized. In many recordings the sound is distorted because the one who recorded did not have sufficient skills to prevent that. This performance on the other hand on a relatively simple (?) organ is traditional, beautiful with excellent sound quality. That is why it only has 106 likes?? (as of May 20 2023)
I’m glad I found this channel. This is a blessing from the Lord. I play myself I’m from Boston Massachusetts USA. I meant to pipe organs and pump organs. I have a pump organ now which I’m not restoring.
