R.I.P. Mike Bell btw. The documentary done by his brother _Bigger, Stronger, Faster_ is really good. They show some footage of Mike Bell in WWE all the way back in the 1990s.
Bob Holly used to be a bully for no reason. Saturn only went mad because he was dropped on his head. Holly had no excuse for what he did to Matt Cappotelli (RIP)
Even watching this match on TV without knowing anything was up, it looked uncomfortable. You can hear/see Terri telling him to cool it, and something I didn't remember was the commentary line of Perry Saturn "taking advantage of" Mike Bell. They seemed to have noticed too.
At one point during the match when they are outside the ring, Terri Runnels says something to Perry. I have always wondered what she said. Like was she telling him to calm down or take it easy or something?
Perry has done some pretty good shoot interviews and he openly admits to his mistakes and life problems. I don't know him personally of course, but he seems to be a cool guy at least in that respect.
I really wish Saturn never had the substance issues he did. He was the first wrestler I remember seeing on TV (think it was Saturn v Kidman in wcw) and I thought he was great (mic work was weak) but his suplexes were beautiful and had the best elbow drop (yes, better than Savage)
Saturn was one of the best in ring workers there was around that point. His time as half The Eliminators and his early WCW stuff was amazing. Dudes move set was incredible. He could do basically anything. He was a martial artist, could be a high flyer, had awesome suplexes, added amateur wrestling pinning combinations and submission holds once he went to WCW, and could brawl.

@@mr.awesome6011 but I never said Kurt wrestle in 90's attitude era started round '97 ? I'm just saying that's when I started watching WWE so of 3 years later Kurt Angle came along...I was just saying I watched him from start to finish
When i started surly old guys would "shoot" by dropping you straight back for a belly to back/side suplex and act like they taught you a lesson when it would hurt.
Podcasts or shoots with Kurt are always weird because he's so close to his actual wrestling gimmick in real life. It feels like he's either still working you or you're talking to a movie character.
Less experienced? Bell had been working for over 10 years at that point. Bell was also a addict during this time and probably why he dropped Saturn on his neck not once but twice. I don’t blame perry. Playing games with perrys health. Perry could’ve ended up in a chair for life
I like how they gloss over and say "Bell botched a spot" when, if you watch the match, he very nearly broke Saturn's neck. Of all people Angle should get it why Saturn did what he did in return. I'll bet you Saturn was in there telling Bell to slow down and he didn't listen.
I agree with op. Bell was an addict, not some kid like angle calls him. He had been wrestling for 10 years by this point and was never this sloppy. Not to mention he dropped Perry on his neck not once but twice.

I had Mark Bells shirt about his brother. I'd rather be dead than average
Did he die?
Kurt thank you for talking about your addiction issues
I watched that Metal and Jakked that Saturday morning and Saturday night!- June 1st 2021
Bob Holley was like, " and people want to talk about me?"

HEY HEY COMMRAD THOMPSON pls stop advertising SO MUCH AND FIX YOUR AUDIO PROBLEMS
yeah first and last time i check this channel so much advertising for a bad quality podcast
At one point during the match when they are outside the ring, Terri Runnels says something to Perry. I have always wondered what she said. Like was she telling him to calm down or take it easy or something?
Just watched the match and I think you're right.
She tells him “you’re going too far”
Yeah at the point you saw a ease up from him
You could audibly hear her say "you're gonna kill him" as he gets back to the ring.
It's really a shame the way Perry Saturn's career went that guy was awesome
Haha was he f**k. He was gash
Perry was def a pretty good wrestler in his prime
@@gunsharck you're dumb
Perry was a beast. I have two autographs from him.
@@gunsharckyou don't understand how talent Perry Saturn was before wwe buried him
Didnt they bring in moppy to keep an eye on perry after that.
That spot where Saturn rams the guy into the steps was a regular spot Saturn did to jobbers in the 2000's
The way he did it was not regular his feet left the ground for more impact
Perry screwed up 2 careers in that match.
Where's the rest of this? The video cut out right when it was getting good.
The full podcast is in the description.
Braun gave Brock a stiff punch, and Brock returned the receipt. It looked like Braun got the worst of that exchange. 😂
I had no idea Kurt angle has a show...fkn subbed immediately are you kidding this guy has a broken freakin neck!
Everyone has a podcast. You really that surprised?
TOTAL ELIMINATION
The best tag team ever!!!
Perry destroyed his own life as well as Bells life all because he was unable to control his emotions.
Perry has done some pretty good shoot interviews and he openly admits to his mistakes and life problems. I don't know him personally of course, but he seems to be a cool guy at least in that respect.
Bells life was already destroyed. The did was a big time addict by this point. Probably why he botched to simple spots
I really wish Saturn never had the substance issues he did. He was the first wrestler I remember seeing on TV (think it was Saturn v Kidman in wcw) and I thought he was great (mic work was weak) but his suplexes were beautiful and had the best elbow drop (yes, better than Savage)
Yeah Saturn really was as talented and believable as pretty much anyone
HAHA what a casual take
The Flock was amazing

Saturn rocked!
But no mention of Brian Gamble
Perry unfortunately was battling substance abuse for many years this could've bern handled differently.
He also took what looked like a legit head injury in the botch.
Da burgh still loves you kurt.

Angle has a mural of himself on his wall?? 😂
Meltzers soap boy Conrad is getting bigger everyday 🧼🧼🧼🧼

How come perry was blackballed, I mean he had addictions but many have

Watch the match you'll see he was way too aggressive
This is why parry wore dresses the rest of his career
He wore the dress in WCW and it was his idea
He had a romantic relationship with a MOP.

But when the newbie put Kurt in a hold he wasn’t as forgiving. Bullshit
