The problem with our team, we have so many good offensive prospects like Sengun and Green, we don't realize the value of Jabari Smith, use him for mostly for spot up/kick out option.
pretty much everyone has said that they kept it simple in terms of offensive scheming this year because they had so much to be done on defense, but once Jabari tightens up his handle and they start to deploy more complex stuff offensively I think he'll get a more diverse shot profile allowing him to show off some of his versatility on both ends
He's already on track to be a great outside shooter and defender. That mid-post game is what's going to make him special. That one dribble pull up could be unstoppable. Great video.
Yeah Jabari is so undervalued. In my opinion, he's the 2nd most likely all star. I trust him way more than i trust Jalen, cam, amen and Tari. If Amen gets even a 30% jumper from deep, that might change.
Watched Jabari have a rough game vs the Thunder. They exposed him defensively in the PnR, got blown by from a bunch of guards and small wings. On offense, SGA check him a few times, even stuffed him. In the second half, the Rockets gave him some post touches and he punished smaller defenders somewhat. Still, this doesn’t feel like the team for him, too many me-first guys that need the ball in their hands.
much copium on comments and video. he defended decently probably 15 games out of 80, otherwise he really disappears in defense or offense or miss shots, or fail to force his shot creation or take responsibility. but surely, he is 20, improving decently, have good length and have long ways to go for fulfilling the role. when you watch those highlights, ofc anyone will think he is undervalued or underused. because he is... but the story is, you create your own value on the court. by simply good decision making, when to cut, pass, or shoot, will put your value 5x over who doesn't.
If he makes a big step in his game the team as a whole will become so much better in so many different aspects. I’m not saying he’s holding us back but at some times he’s dead weight.

Yup and there are many idiots on clutchfans who want to trade him… 😅
imagine if he was drafted by the magic. u think he’d be a near superstar by now?

Great video.
He just needs to get stronger and he will be even more impactful

Pelicans need to trade BI for him!!!!
I actually drew this up in the trade machine earlier tonight: Jabari and Dillon Brooks for Ingram
Chris bosh similarities
Who can guard perimeter and even shot block
Better shooting pick and roll and pop game while also having some off dribble game
Anyone else think he look a titan from attack on titan 😅
Kinda
How
Who? Titan? What kinda kid shit Titan?
at least he does not look like a velociraptor
@@ididntaskverified3663 His built structure.
Jabari ceiling is Kevin Garnett with a legit 3
You’re comment is super high; nobody on earth has KG’s motor. He’s not nearly as long as KG. His game could look like KG’s, but not his ceiling.
