A regular buffet seems like a better choice. With butler service, you're at the mercy of the restaurant. The eggs benedict with filet mignon did look especially yummy 😋.
@@ExploreVegas Filet minion looked delicious, the caprice salad was missing the most important component, the fresh basil! Yes not enough food or time considering u have to wait for them to bring u the food!!! I don't care for that kind of buffet. great video as always.
Sounded like a good idea at first, but not much variety. I also worry when I go to a place like this that is not a "regular " buffet thay they will complain if you don't eat everything you get and sometimes you just don't like something. Glad you addeded your commentary at the end. Knowing how they bring the food around to outter tables 1st and how you had to wait, helped me make up my mind. I will skip this one.
Very bread-forward buffet! Pretty much everything you got had some sort of baked product connected to it. The food looked quite well done though. I think I'd fill up too quickly to be worth the cost due to the bread products.
Paying $55 to be at their mercy to bring you enough food within 90 minutes? That's ridiculous! Everything heavy on the carbs, few quality proteins, and doesn't even include dessert! 👎
Don’t eat the bread. It looks like all they was serving you was bread and carbs only to get you full fast. Way overpriced for a carb overload buffet. The name of this place should have been La Carbs
Thank you so much for reviewing La Cave buffet style! We live here and were planning to go, but so appreciate your honest and detailed review. I don't think we'll be going, but love the regular Wynn buffet. Keep these great reviews coming. Love Mr. and Mrs. Explore Vegas, and son EV.
omg!! sorry it wasnt what you (or the hubby and I) would have hoped for, but it sure does remind me of the Brazilian steak places. i would watch my fav, the “beef ribs” come and go and they would forget to come to our table, but i would then chase them down, lol. 😂
Their offerings are HEAVY on the BREAD... other than the eggs benedict... every dish looked very carb heavy... not a Keto friendly offering... Interesting concept, but has the same problem as a dim sum (with carts) problem... some tables NEVER see the popular items... 100% the "butler" fault... Trying to make it seem that you are offered some kind of "exclusive" service, but really they just follow the same floor pattern and are NOT paying attention to the customers.... Sorry, to hear...
Sounds like they have some kinks they need to work out. Maybe having dedicated servers to their own sections. That way they know which guests have been served what and what they need to bring out next. It needs to be a bit more organized. A good floor manager would fix that.
Yeah..this place should have been $25pp...had just as many sweet offerings (if not more) than savory, which isnt my ideal type of buffet. Gonna pass on this one...price far too expensive.
While they are trying to be UNIQUE with the FOOD DELIVERY ... the food actually looked BELOW AVERAGE, for sure!! And, I'm NOT a fan of that PRICE POINT ... seeing what you got. I'll stick to the TRADITIONAL BUFFET for a MUCH BETTER VALUE 😋
Before the football season ends do you think you can do the all-you-can order at the Aria Food Hall? I believe its only on NFL Sundays but sounded like a cool AYCE option.
The food looks good but based on the service you had I rather pass and just go to the regular buffet for about the same price. A 90 minute time limit and it takes them a while to get to your table for food isn't worth it
@@telawsonartzy6880 thank you so much! Yes, been losing a little weight. Trying to eat very healthy and exercise a lot during the week so we can enjoy the reviews on the weekends. I very much appreciate your kind words and support!!
@@ExploreVegas You have to go to places where they actually make the food on site so they can be sure to eliminate all cheese, you can never have slices of pizza(but can have a whole one made without cheese--FYI you save almost 300 calories per slice without cheese) you can’t eat prepackaged fully mixed salads or breakfast sandwiches or many frozen dinners, you have to be very careful when you eat at a buffet and eat only items without cheese. You learn to adapt to what you can and where you can eat. I have been eating this way for seventy years so unless a server or a chief decides you are not worth the trouble or don’t know what you are talking about and deliberately adds cheese to your food(yes--I have had that experience many times) you are usually ok!

Completely agree! The regular buffet is a way better choice. I’m glad we tried it, but we know where we’re going in the future!

Sorry hard pass 😮
I am sure we will see many more of these 'creative' ideas, as the economy continues to slow down next year😂
Hate to tell you, the economy is on fire. Not the disaster Trump predicted. @@timjonesvideos

Agreed. Just looked like overpriced and gourmet plated buffet
We were excited to go, but left disappointed. There is definitely room for improvement at this one.
Presentation was definitely their strength. Unfortunately, value was their weakness!

Yes, too many bread and carb heavy foods.
Don't eat the bread 🤣🤣
Ugh, there was so much bread there. I feel ashamed.

Don’t eat the pancakes and pizza.

“La Carbs” you cracked me up on this one! Good nickname for this buffet!
I subscribed just to hear you say : don’t eat the bread😅😅Jokes aside, excellent videos ☺️👌

It was the same style of service as the Brazilian steakhouses only a very small amount of proteins!

Starting to love your posts! Keep it up, don't eat the bread : )
Thank you! No 🥖 🍞😁
Looked like a lot of "bready" items. Not a fan of this concept. Another fantastic video as always. Cheers
Completely agree!
Great and honest review.
Happy Holidays 🎄❄️⛄🍓
Thank you! Happy holidays!
Yeah....i think I'll pass with this one. They should not be so obvious trying to fill you up on the bread stuff so you go light on the protiens.
Yes that really frustrated me!

Hey guys!!!!! ❤ 😊 Great to 👀 see 👀 you!!!!! Great honest review like always!!!!! My opinion only: TOO long for meat delivery!!!!!
Hi Daniel. Great to hear from you. I completely agree. It takes too long to get the meat dishes!
This seems like an interesting concept. The food does look delicious!
Thank you for watching!
Hey love the hair cut looking good 👍
Thank you Martha! ☺️
for $54 It would be a nope for me.
Thank you for watching!
When eating a meal, a personal trainer’s advice was to eat veggies first, then protein and carbs last.
They barely had any veggies in this one!
@@ExploreVegasYes that’s the point-only the mozzarella salad! It’s a nix for me. I prefer the regular Wynn Buffet-imao the best buffet in LV!
@@swag94556Huh?
It’s almost like a Brazilian steakhouse. I’d try it out at least once.
Actually, after hearing your comments at the end. I don’t think I want to visit this restaurant 😅
We were so excited to go and after not so much.
A lot of bread. Omg
Too much bread!
You ate the bread.
I’m sad to say I did! 😪

The food quality was decent, just too many carbs and not enough protein for that price point.
Every buffet in Vegas has pizza. Drives me nuts. Pizza is kid's food and the cheapest possible thing to make. Rip off.
Designed to fill you up and increase profit margins.
Before the football season ends do you think you can do the all-you-can order at the Aria Food Hall? I believe its only on NFL Sundays but sounded like a cool AYCE option.
We looked at that and we may still do it. Unfortunately they don’t include the sushi and everything else is just fried and comfort foods.

Good call! The regular buffet is one of the best around!
Too many carbs to stuff you up. I would have liked more seafood/meat options and a little sushi/sashimi.
Same here! Thank you for watching!
I've been there I would rather go to the regular buffet. It was good service, but tad slow. My group kinda felt rushed.
I completely agree with your take on it. Thank you for watching!

Good objective observations of the buffet. Nice job! 🎉

Dim Sum with an international twist.

Definitely not a place for someone who is deathly allergic(goes into anaphylactic shock from as little as one bite) to all cheeses!
I’d imagine it’s very hard to eat out if one has severe allergies.
