    I wonder why some drives label the inputs L1 L2 L3 and the outputs T1 T2 T3, and some label the inputs R S T and the outputs U V W? Is it manufacturer specific? Soft start vs full VFD nomenclature?

      Oh, some googling shows L1 L2 L3 T1 T2 T3 is NEMA (north american) standard, and RST UVW (and XYZ) is DIN (german?) standard - of course it comes down to competing standards that mean the same thing. I especially like how T is an output in the NEMA standard, and an input in the DIN standard - what could possibly go wrong?

      ​@@gorak9000 I also found equipments with T11 T12 T13 T21 T22 T23, all in sequence and T11 T12 T13 being the output, inverted.
