Early latent Syphilis is any syphilis within the 12 month period starting on the day that primary symptoms occurred that a patient is experiencing no signs or symptoms. This could be before primary, in between primary and secondary or after secondary. After 12 months has past from the day that primary syphilis begins, any latent period where they are experiencing no sxs, it is categorized as Late Latent. CDC Nurse protocol for STD's Manual.

I sleep with both men AND women, and I’ll tell you right now, that it only is noticed in groups of men who spend time with other men, just because gay guys DO take better care of ourselves (yes we do)... Per the CDC late laten Syphilis is after 12 months, not 2 years. I'm not sure if recommendations had changed since this video was made but that is the current guideline.

My new doctor did a blood test and found syphilis. I told him I had it 7 years ago and that sort of explain things for him bc I guess if you had it before, it stays in your blood. But now I’m wondering if I actually got syphilis since the last time I had it 7 years ago without symptoms. My doctor didn’t advise that I have checked, but I think I should just to be on the safe side.

2 shots of penicillin.. a shot of penicillin in both butt cheeks..depending on how long you've had syphilis your body gets sick for about a day or two after the penicillin shots to kill the remaining infection that's present in the body. There may be other ways of treating it but this was how I got rid of mine .

In my case, I didn’t believe I could be a victim of hepatitis because I thought it could only be contracted from living recklessly because I quite knew a little about it.
