    • @jayceh
      @jayceh 4 месяца назад +2

      I actually think it's the opposite
      Look at the last 3 or 4 points of this match
      He's cheating to the front almost every shot and then just uses his superhuman speed and explosivity to get back and still easily hit a smash. For 100% of other badminton players after cheating that first step, they'd have to hit a clear.
      He doesn't know where the shuttles going. He's cheating every shot so heads, he's going to play an incredibly early shot at the net
      Tails, he's going to jump back and smash you to oblivion.
      It's impossible to play against this version of Lin Dan.

    Not only the home court advantage, look at LIN DAN's speed at game 2, is that a human? No, that's a beast!
    LEE lost four points in the same place four times when game 2. LIN DAN knew his weakness is backcourt forehand, so he targeted at it.
    Find opponent's weakness and aim at it, this is what we called "match".
    Besides, the gap between the two's physical fitness was also disparate, you can compare the arm muscle.
    Before the Olympic match, LEE was the second seed, and LIN was the one. Maybe at that moment LEE could defeat almost every Men's Single easily, but 2008 Beijing's LIN DAN was never on the list. 2012's LEE Chong Wei was regrettable, but 2008 he had 0% possibility to win. Maybe my words sound harsh, this is the fact.

  • @赵相邻
    @赵相邻 2 года назад +13

    This may not be the most exciting game between the two. But it was definitely a game where Lin Dan was on full fire and exerted all his advantages to the extreme. After the last ball was returned to the net by the opponent. Lin Dan jumped excitedly into the air, lying on the ground and covering his face with his hands. Then tears filled his eyes. Facing the coach who came to congratulate with a smile on his face. He cried loudly like a child between Coach Tang Xianhu and Coach Li Yongbo. The loss of Athens, the pressure and doubts suffered for four years have dissipated at this moment. The preparation seemed to be slightly insufficient, and Li Zongwei, who was in poor condition, lost the game. Li Zongwei did not appear particularly sad. No gaffe. Instead, he politely smiled and shook hands with Lin Dan to congratulate him. Lin Dan also patted Li Zongwei with his hand to express comfort and encouragement. Maybe this is friendship

    Lin Dan was the fastest of all time moving backwards
    You can see his neutral position in 2005-2009 was an entire step more forward than anyone ever, including himself 2010-retirement
    That's why his front court shots were so devastating. And as we can see, he has no trouble getting back for smashes.
    Plus he seemed to have unlimited stamina. By playing this far forward he's moving around a lot more than his older self.
    When he slowed down, he retreated to a normal neutral position, same as LCW or Momota's depth.
    So no, no one in history could have possibly beaten this version of LD.
