captain my only complaint is that you could've played louder in the intro. man it is a joy seeing you grow as a musician! real inspiration
i guess thats because he was connected to the smaller amp
Totally agree. Great to see him grow. Definitely an inspiration
To be fair, he’s putting his 6 watts versus Pete’s what, 35?
UK Watts are quieter than Danish Watts
As always Lee and my fellow dane Pete kills it with the jams and the demo, much love from here guys, keep doing what you're doing.
Good show from the Andertons Guitar Crew. Glad you're giving UK craftsmanship some love. Jeff in LA USA
Lee's playing/improve in that second jam halfway through the video was great! Great job Cap'n!
Captain, your playing this episode is sublime! I am very happy to see you develop as a musician all these years :)
Absolutely loving Pete sneaking in that Purple Rain lick everywhere, puts a grin on my face every time!
Finally! Been noticing the little purple amp lurking in the corner for months. Thanks for finally answering my burning question!!
djillogika there’s a trip Pete took to rift amps in his utube channel.
Probably one of my favorite intro jams. Love that music man!
I watched all the way to the end. Honestly, this is some of the most interesting content you've had recently. A NEW handmade British Amp company, with speakers I'm not all that familiar with? I think sometimes the Capt. undersells the interest value of certain vids when he feels insecure about it. I've combed RUclips dry for new content, this was something new and interesting to me. Just approach them all like people should be interested.
Hell yeah!! ... Nice playing Lee!! .. and Pete Always great playing.. Great video 🎶🎸🙂
These Jams are a thing of beauty
Lee - your playing has come so far. Dispense with the tentativeness now and just flow. You’re there. Pete - you’ve been there. Thank you for your excellent and highly entertaining videos.
Great playing in this video the captain sounded so so good and of course so did Pete
Captain you are killin’ it! Great licks, good sir!!!
Been watching these vids for years now and one thing is very clear. The Captain's playing has definitely improved during that time. The Rifts seem great little amps too.
Always nice to be introduced to amp builders I've never heard of before. I really like the '60s amps - awesome pedal platforms, but sound good without pedals, too. I'm lucky to know an amp builder that built a '65 Deluxe Reverb clone for me.
Our band hosts the Thursday night jam at the Lion Brewery in Ash every third week, and our lead guitarist has had a Rift Amp for the last couple of years. I use either a 15 or 30W Laney LC, and everybody sounds good! Lovely to see these wonderful amps available in a retail environment.
Oh man, that opening jam! One of my favourites so far!
Brilliant video, this is the content I want. Interesting and unusual amps with the backstory and breakdown.
There are more then enough videos on youtube of dudes wacking off over reverb pedals through the same Fender amps we’ve listened to since the 60’s.
I’m a simple man, I see Danish Pete playing and continue to watch the whole video
Yep he's a cool guy. I wonder where he's from?
@@johnwescott1500 Germany probably, just like the dog breed Great Dane. ;)
@@Mr_Bollie Uh..You guys are kidding right?
I'm actually skipping video when there is him on a guitar
YAZIR orl korrect I was trying to be polite but yeah me too haha
It's good to know that Pete's is just "that much bigger" Lovely sounds guys thanks for the video.
I did infact watch too the end , and thoroughly enjoyed it!! ... then again i am already subscribed :D
I see you cap!!! Jamming away. Look at you man, killing it. Danish Pete as always! kicking ass in purple. 🤙🏽
Oh, that deep green Music Man. Such a beauty!
Lee, your playing in the intro was very tasteful.. It had a Mayer feel to it. Well done!
sounding lovely!
Very lovely, cheers guys.
Really good to see the big retailers working with the smaller indie makers!
They sound amazing
Seems like the British Milkman. Really great sounding amps and you’ve done well to supply them. I called them up 18 months ago to order one but the long wait time back then put me off.
Great amps! I love the Hawker!
I love your dedication to selling products made in the UK, and I'm not even British.
wow lee you've really progressed a lot as a player over the years! Being around players like pete and ariel help i'm sure
Have to say, I spent a good part of my afternoon on and off playing the Rift Aynsley Lister signature model head with 2x12 cab at the guitar show. Amp based on the Marshall 2144 with reverb but also Chris reverse-engineered his Marshall 2144 which was already modded in the past. Absolutely incredible amp with an extra mode to bring the frequencies back when the Master is up and the pre-amp down, pull the pre-amp pot out and it gives cleans like no other Marshall based amp can do. So desperately want that amp, no pedals needed at all through it.
I see Danish Pete playing, stay tuned, and wonder if he is getting a raise. He deserves one!
I enjoy seeing how the Captain has developed as a guitar player over the past few year. Nice to see him comfortable in his own skin as a player.
Epic jam fellas.....
the captain played so beautifully in the intro!
Bought my first Chapman the other day, ghost fret Pro dusk, one of the best guitars I've ever played
Nice playing!
Hawker sounds and looks great!
lee's getting better and better.
That Hawker is the first thing that gets close to the old Watkins Dominator that used to drive me nuts how folks from Harrison to Page got that sound until I found out about them. A very unique kind of "stuffy" sound that you recognize immediately but can't get out of any conventional amp.
more boutique fender and marshall clones, the world needed this
Can't wait to see the review of the Greg amp by Koch Amps. I own one and love it.
Was really liking the Hawker Was still full in the 8 watt mode And Oooooh then the Vibro came in WoW Chris is killing it Good stuff
AH, takes me back to when i had real amplifiers. Lovely stuff!
Stonking sounds you guys!
All the different fender circuits have things going for them, but I do like how the brownface kind of splits the difference. Amps sounded great
Congratz, sounds sweet. Great thing to get a dealership for. I wish amp-makers would give me an amp with my name on it!
The Captain's chops are improving.
nice playing on the intro lee
love the hawker
The G&L Asshat is my favorite G&L guitar!
Loved Lee's playing in the intro, really tasty and Pete is just Pete, awesome. I thought all the amps sounded genuinely fantastic. I was really impressed by the Vibro and the Plexi 18. Is the Tremolo Harmonic trem on the Vibro as it was in the original brownface Fender's? I heard the new Aynsley Lister amp at the guitar show, sounded incredible! Think you've got a video coming soon....... ;-)
Nice picking Lee
Wgs speakers , iv got those in my cabs,, good stuff , I like em.
Another valve amp that sounds really good. 🤗
That cracked goldtop is so beautiful
Bit out of my price range, but damn they’re nice sounding.
Wow first video i've watched in a while and The Caps guitar playing has gotten so much better. Props!
Finally you have some real amps, well done.
that Hawker sounds very nice...
Damn Lee is so good!
“The glorious Koch”. Marvellous.
can these be shipped to the US? i've been keeping tabs on Mr. Honore's journey with Rift and these sound just lovely!
Obvious but can you blindfold test Marshall Origin, new Studio Vintage and Rift Plexi combo all set for a bit of crunch. They increase in price accordingly.
Have you guys thought about stocking Honey Boy amps from Glasgow? They're very cool and actually reasonably priced!
sounds like an eric johnson amp . good job . best job on tone !
I actually did watch all the way to the end, and even enjoyed it too :-)
These are properly glorious amps.
Speaking of glorious! When will you review the Gregg from Koch amps!
Amps are awesome! A bit too expensive for me at the moment... but things change!
Had this idea the other day... wouldn't it be nice to see a Chapman Guitars Danish Pete signature? I wonder what color it would be!
Looks like a near exact copy of my 1980's Guyatone GA 200. They haven't quite nailed the sound though of my little gem.
Flippin' heck that's a rich sound! All good amps. Love the twin Les Paul jam, you two been practising that one?
I watch all your videos guys... all the way through. BTW ...lol
That is the fullest sounding 6watt i've ever heard. I hope they get US distribution/dealer
Bad ass video great watch
Nice Into, very Knopfler like.
Always room for some cheeky purple rain
Great another thing I want
I live in Jersey just outside of Philadelphia. Watch you guys everyday. feel like I know you guys. whats the avg shipping to New Jersey. No one here has Sire guitars.
Pete got Prince on the brain. Pete !! Have you been to the
Prince museum?
It's PURPLE! Wish I could afford...
They sound GREAT! The players were OK too. : )
What these looper jams really sell is loop pedals. We need a looper pedal shootout!
You should do an episode on Cornell amps!
You guys should do the Ibanez Jiva!
Cap sounding great
Danish Pete, Im stealing that sweet country shit at 30:45, just lettin ya know! Btw, those amps sound like pure pixie dust (that's good I think!)
Yes, I did watch all the way to the end...
Nice sounding Amps.. They both seem to be compared to original brand amps, would it be possible to do a compare/contrast between these and their appropriate counterparts? Might be interesting? As in Rift and a real old Fender, or the Hawk and a real Marshall.
they just did dunce hat
hits of purple rain, nice,
the hawker is wonderfull in all its british glory, somewhere between a selmer and a vox or hiwatt...as an american i must admit my fave circuits are british! i might have to bust my piggy bank up!
Skipped forward to hear the Plexi. Heard Kossoff. Was impressed.
Can we hear it with a guitar plugged directly in without effects pedals?
Think I will go for a Morgan PR15 for the same price as this 6 watter
Boys, it's time. Can we PLEASE have 60fps!?
why is Pete my favorite human ever...
Those are princeton reverbs. You can build one all the way up to 100 watts. You can wire it for e.u. tubes or american style.
I'm hearing "G&L Ass Hat" when D. Pete references his guitar.
