Changing my environment is what I did 6 yrs ago. I was homeless and addicted to illegal substances. I woke up one day really exhausted and said “enough” I relocated back to the place I had support and love of my family. I got a “well job” and started to map out my life. I decided to back to school and became a healthcare professional. So change is always good and thanks for pointing that out in this video. I’m currently debating getting another certification for my job and this video brought me some clarity. THANKS!!!!
The one thing I was totally guilty of in the past is when I entered flow state. As soon as I felt good about my work speed and being in the zone, I would get excited and either immediately play video games or I would stand up and go do something else. It was weird. Then I designated time slots for getting stuff done and a 10 minute flow state turned into 45+ minutes.
First step for us was indeed moving. Now working on building the new habits and mindset with the fresh start. These RUclips videos have been the jet fuel on the fire within. Thanks Dan

Moving to a city that I didn’t know a single soul has brought me a peace that I haven’t felt for a long time . Yet , I often find myself feeling guilty and not being there for everyone else and abandoning my dreams like I did the last 30years … it’s something I need to learnt to make peace with . But not gonna lie , there are days where I can’t get out of bed because of feeling guilty and ashamed for putting myself first because it’s so unnatural to me . I'm struggling to focus on work and personal projects because my girlfriend is resistant to changes in my routine. She doesn’t like me waking up early to work out, even if it's for my health, or working on my side projects, even when she's asleep. She's also frustrated when I want to visit my parents. I don't want to blame anyone, but I think I am blaming her in my head, I feel stuck, and it seems like I might need to change my environment, even if that means ending this 5-year relationship.

Motivational speakers hardly ever have an answer for "how" or "what". Figure out what you love about life and study it deeply. Find books about it. Find content. Grow your understanding of what you love about it and begin to act on your knowledge. As you grow, train others that show interest in your endeavors. Ultimately, you seek deeper knowledge about what you love in life and invest your heart, soul, and time into that. Keep in mind that success is not always measured in $. Success is measured in your accomplishment of what you set out to do. Stay thirsty for knowledge.
