Agreed, he needs so much support. The whole group took such a hit when Wonho left, which hopefully he'll return now that his case is successfully closed, and also when people also tried to take him down as the leader of Monsta X with false allegations. And all because Monsta X was rising in fame. I can't imagine the amount of pressure Shownu was going through without being able to do a thing about it and Wonho's very unfortunate story was taking over. He was so calm throughout the whole thing, but we all know he was trying hard to hold himself together on the inside. It's so damn sad.

Shownu is an amazing leader, but also an amazing person. I've never seen someone so selfless, genuine, and kind. Please appreciate and support him a lot. He deserves nothing but the best.
I'm not gonna lie, it sometimes hurts when I see MBB show so much love, support & recognition for every little thing that the other members do but seem to take Shownu for granted. I know it's not intentional but it still hurts. With his quiet & hidden support nature, it is easy to overlook him & we tend to do so quite often.
So when I see videos like this or comments and posts showing him the love & support he deserves I get so emotional (I'm writing this with tears streaming down my face).
He has been through so much, and withstood so much for us. The members have said multiple times that his presence gives them the confidence they need to do their things (shows etc).
*Monbebe, I know you love all of them equally, bias n all but sometimes, maybe sometimes, can we show him a little love just as verbally n publicly as we do with the other members? Just because he's quiet and can handle the pressure does not mean that he should not be appreciated or praised for it because it is not easy.*
I still remember when we saw the amount of weight he lost during the Follow era, we all panicked & poured out our love & concerns for him. It shouldn't be that we only act like that when his health is in danger or something, it should be all day, everyday just like the other members.
Please love & appreciate him just as you love & appreciate the other members. Sometimes, a spoken word goes a long way.

You're absolutely right! As a new Monbebe, I didn't really understand Shownu's quiet and strong presence until he left for enlistment in July. I have never missed an artist that I don't know so much in my entire life. His presence is irreplaceable and I for one will be doing a lot more to celebrate him!
I'm a new monbebe and i have noticed it too. He is often overlooked by monbebes itself. Even in some performance videos I have noticed how he gets the least attention from the audience. Also he isn't just an amazing dancer, he can sing amazingly too. He deserves a lot more love as an artist and a human ( his personality is another amazing quality of his). I am really happy to see a video like this.

Shownu maybe a silent type person but his actions as a leader speaks louder. According to the members, they will choose him over and over again as their leader. As a Monbebe, I feel the same. I'll always choose Shownu as MX leader.
Just maybe, Shownu sometimes feels bad cuz he's not as affectionate as other members, and it really hurts me thinking of that. But honestly, i feel more comfortable and secure with people like him (kind of talk less and do more), Shownu has become my ideal type of man ever since i knew him.
And when all things happened to us since last Nov, i think Shownu is the one who suffer the most as a leader( not to mention Wonho, cuz there's a bunch of things to talk about when it comes to him).

Do you ever think about how Shownu puts other members first before himself or how he randomly compliment the members when they're not confident or how he silently watches them having fun with a big smile on his face or how he quietly moves the couch so it fit all of the members? I'm honestly curious how Shownu’s parents feel like having a loving dedicated and hardworking son like Sohn Hyunwoo ❤❤
I sobbed when watching their first win reactions/speech. They are sooooooo humble!
He's my bias for a reason! He may seems sometimes looks emotionless but I always see that he really cares for his members a lot. He may having a hard time showing it since he already said he's not too much of an emotional person but it always breaks my heart when some never appreciate him the way they appreciate the other members. Nunu always have a special place in my heart. He is one of the best and hardworking leaders I know. He always stood up and stick with monsta x and monbebes. Ialways wanna let him know how much I appreciate and love him. Thank you for always being the best and the most suitable leader of Monsta X Hyunwoo! *You are an irreplaceable member of Monsta X!*
I legit love this man bear so much it hurts. Words can't express the love and joy that he brings me or how amazing he is. How amazingly flawless he makes everything look. How well he cares for the members and monbebe. I, if could do one thing in this life that matters, would make sure that he is comfortable, healthy and happy. I’m a grown ass man following MONSTA X for a while now, and I love this guy with all of my heart. Really admire and respect him as a person, for his genuine kindness for those around him and passion for the work he does. His leadership is truly one of a kind in the industry. Couple that with a goofy personality, crazy amounts of talent, one heck of a stage presence, and god-like visuals. There is literally no reason to not love him. It baffles me how sometimes people don’t talk about how amazing a person he is, so it really comforts me when the rest of the members bring that side of him to light. Shownu youdabest 💯
I can't describe in words how hugely and deeply love and appreciate this man. He's so kind and humble, has a golden heart and is so talented. He's the best leader,best son,best friend to monbebes, best brother and ofc best boyfriend/husband. The girl/boy who would marry this man is one of the luckiest person in this universe. Nunu is truely a golden person and I would never stop loving and supporting him along with his 6 brothers.

Argh! Now I'm all misty-eyed! He was the first to catch my eye of the group. His energy to me seems warm, caring, and protective. He's one of those guys that doesn't talk much, but when he does, you'll listen. This teddy bear is so ridiculously sweet I wanna hug him! I would seriously want to have someone like him as a friend real-time because he would be the best! And I love that the other members hold him in high regard because he is such a caring and wonderful person. I think we need more Shownu's in this world! As a non stan, i was really wondering why he is pretty popular as newbie at that time. I'm not really in to big n buff guy, so definately he is off of my radar. Not long after their debut, i was on hiatus for kPop things, so likely i don't really know Monsta X + their members (i only know MX is the young brother of Sistar and watched their weekly idol debut, i watched it just because i really like Sistar). But NOW i really understand why this cutie bear is being loved. Before i knew his character, i just thought he is an emotion less + expression less guy and a lil bit ignorant or even stuck up. But i was totally wrong. Mianhae Appa Gom.. Being far from my bias type, but i do find you are really cute and handsome both your personality and appearance that make me uwu uwu uwu.. 😂😂😂

Shownu is a hardworking, sincere, pure, and honest person. He's not the 'dominant' type, he makes sure each members shine equally, which make him becomes best leader out there! He's ace and super talented too! I am just discovering him these days (know it's kinda late but yeahh T^T). I really really respect and adore him!

Shownu is an amazing leader! Even though he isn’t my bias he is the reason why I became a Monbebe. He is so cherish and easygoing, but at the same time he is always taking care of everyone. I knew their group way back 2015, because of their respectful behavior and fun fanboying to BigBang (since I’m a VIP too 🙋🏻♀️) at 2015 MAMA Awards; then, I really liked Kihyun’s voice and song for the kdrama She Was Pretty (this was 2016, I think 🤔), however I was more into kdramas before compared to being a kpop fan, that’s why I didn’t really delve on researching about their group. I recently gained interest of Monsta X because of Minhyuk’s handsome appearance at the archery competition with Rowoon, that’s why I searched for their group, but upon watching Monsta X’s videos, I literally fell in love with Shownu 😍
What’s not to love? Physical appearance wise? Check! Tall and has a nice body build together with a cute and charming face 😍. Talent wise? Check! An amazing dancer, a soulful singer and a competitive swimmer 🤩. Strength wise? Check! He’s literally strong, that’s why his members always rely on him whenever strength related matters are involved 💪🏻. Lastly, personality wise? Super CHECK! This aspect is really the reason why I super like him 👍🏻
• Yes, his confident, but his not the type who likes to show off; he knows his good qualities but doesn’t parade those like an egotistical and braggart person- he just shows those qualities when asked to or when it’s needed 👏🏻
• He is not greedy for attention; whenever he is with his group, notice how he is always on the side, and just gives the floor to his members. I know he is just quiet and sometimes shy, but regardless, he is not the type to do stuff just to attract attention from people 🙌🏻
• He tries his best in everything that he does. May it be in dancing, singing, exercising, leading the group, entertaining, being funny or even speaking in english. I watched their videos while promoting abroad, though there are more members who speaks well compared to him, I can see that he really tries his best to speak in english. And in my opinion, it’s better to see a person who charmingly tries his best than a person who is SLIGHTLY fluent in english but comes off boastful and looks like his silently criticizing his other members as if he doesn’t want them to talk because his ashamed of their responses 🙄
• He is an AWE-mazing all in one leader, I don’t know in reality, but from what I’ve seen so far, he is exceptional! I can see and feel that he has a big heart, not just for his members but in general. He takes good care of others, he is kind, he doesn’t get angry(the literal word) easily, he is a good sport, he is considerate of others, he is sweet in a manly manner, he just smiles or laughs whenever other people would tease him or say some negative words (I don’t really know how the korean culture goes, but for me, some of the words that are coming out of their mouths (or the way they say it) are audacious and insulting- it’s way too harsh) 🤨
Anyways, there are a lot more positive things that I could say to him but this comment is really long already, so I better stop here hehehe he is already 28 yrs old and 29 in korean age so I think his enlistment is already near, I’m sad just thinking about it, it will take years to see him again. Bummer, I just recently knew him 😭 Oh well, I just wish him the best of the best cause I believe he is good inside and out ♥️ Regardless of the issues that he has before, may it be with his love life or his vice/s, I DON’T CARE, everyone has vices and everyone makes mistakes, I just hope that he learned from those mistakes and he takes good care of his health. May he have fruitful years! 🌟 Oh!
