I think Shownu is an underrated leader. He doesn’t speak often (especially in english) but he is doing so much for the group without standing in the foreground. I think he is the perfect leader. A leader isn’t there just to speak for the group and be in the foreground. A leader is there to push the others in the foreground, to motivate them and to be a puffer for stress. It’s really hard to be a leader in the background, so I am really thankful for this video🥰

What’s funny is that I got into Monsta X through seeing clips of Hoseok and Hyunwoo, and seeing an introvert being the leader for a group- ie Hyunwoo- made me relate to his so much. I have to be the team leader with friends and in school projects as no one understands what we are doing so I’ve had to take rein. Look, I enjoy shipping people as much as the next fangirl, but I never take it seriously, unless the members actually come out and say something about it. It's a small fantasy that I sometimes enjoy. I love his love and compassion for the other members. I enjoy the domestic life that MX have with each other. It's so cute, charming and funny, that it should be a sitcom. However, I respect the boys and whoever they may be, because let's be honest, we don't know them personally. Even when they try to do vlives, they only show what they're comfortable with showing. Which is an honor, and we should NEVER take advantage of that. I understand that some people find shipping to be rude. However, it's simply the workings and imaginations of harmless fans. Yes, you may get upset and say something when a fan does something rude, inappropriate and forceful. However, getting upset over a name is just a waste of energy. Shownu read the name, "Showki" on a vlive, and he thought it was funny, while Kihyun just sighed. This proves to me that Shownu is mature, because he's not bothered by the imaginary homo-romantic and homosexual name that fans came up with. Say what you want, it's just a name and it can't hurt anyone, unless you let it. Shownu is also fine saying yes to fans proposals on vlives, allowing fans to enjoy an exciting moment, but not taking it too seriously. It's all fun, guys. Just enjoy the fun you have with the members and respect them as humans, but don't over do it. Because the members know that you guys will all grow up, and move on. It eventually happens. You may think it won't for you, and I thought the same thing about my favorite VK band, but, I out grew them. I grew up and moved on. It's okay. That's how it is, and it's perfectly normal. Shownu works hard because he wants to give his best, and allow the other members to shine brighter than the other musicians, artists, and entertainers. He understands the industry and does everything he can to maintain and climb higher than the rest.
Love and support Monsta X, because they work hard for where they're at, and do what they love.
