I think Shownu is an underrated leader. He doesn’t speak often (especially in english) but he is doing so much for the group without standing in the foreground. I think he is the perfect leader. A leader isn’t there just to speak for the group and be in the foreground. A leader is there to push the others in the foreground, to motivate them and to be a puffer for stress. It’s really hard to be a leader in the background, so I am really thankful for this video🥰

The most humble and selfless person alive, he doesn't care about being in the front of the group, he take care of his members, can handle any situations, knows how to balance everything, he is mature, handsome and multi talented, that's what makes him the perfect leader for the group.
He works so hard to make his group shining.. he force his introvert mind to speak a lot and make interaction with many people in variety show.. I know how his feel as introvert who can speak well in public, but he overcome it well, MX members even said that shownu try to change as talkative in variety but once he come back home he will be quite.. he do that to join a lot of variety show and he doesn't selfish but he always promote MX as group.. he always mention his member`s name when he attend variety show.. he understand that MX come from non big 3 entertainment company, that's why MX have to work harder to recognize.. he take that pressure as leader to make sure MX promote well.. and I'm so hurt when remember how hard they work but they can't get first place before dramarama era..after their first winning shownu cry and he still manage to praise his member.. 😇

I'm a new monbebe also and my only regret is that I didn't discover MonstaX from the beginning. Shownu is unlike any other. He is the perfect leader. Sad that just as I get to know him and the other members he had to enlist weeks later.
I ended up crying which is something i dont usually do when watching these type of videos. I ended up falling in love with him.

Monsta X also taught me to keep fighting for my passion and to not shake off your talents in the face of opposition.
Their influence on me made a drastic change on my life today and I'm always thankful that I stan the right group.
He's one of the best leaders in kpop i hate the fact that he's so underapreciated by a lot of people just because he's shy, he always gives his 100% and never complains and tries to learn as much as possible and he's like a second father to the other members, and even though he's a natural introvert he tries so hard to overcome his shyness
This got me smiling. All leaders are amazing but I have such a soft spot for soft spoken and patient leaders who may seem awkward but are hardworking in the background so his members get recognised for. I have a few in mind like Eric Mun and Bang Yongguk and I don't mind putting Shownu in that pedestal. He's really great and he earns the respect of his members and their staff.
He leads Monsta x the way no one can ever do.. He's indeed the best hardworking leader..
And when Shownu got paid for doing work by himself he share with the other members 😍

It might be a small thing that I noticed but I genuinely appreciate the fact that you made the title "great" not "greatest leader" as other fan-made videos mentions when talking about their fav group's leader. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, of course, to every child their parents would be the best in the world, but I just love the fact that you chose to remain humble and didn't sound too proud that might repel other fandoms or make them uncomfortable if they find this video. Kind and respectful, truly as idols as fans.
I think because every group is different they need different leaders and Shownu is perfect for MONSTA X. He really takes good care of them and I nearly cried when the members said a lot of good things about him. I really think he is one of the best leaders.
Bloni Fenfire yeah I get the same feeling. Like Shownu is not just perfect for Monsta X because of their personalities. But also because Monsta X had to go through so many hardships that they needed a Leader that was like a Rock. Someone to lean on while not having to talk or something. But if you would change Shownu to being the Leader of Got7 as an example that would not work as well since Got7 need someone that can kind of „control“ the members so that they don‘t go haywire. But this also goes the other way around (like JB being a leader of Monsta X wouldn‘t work). So I really think that you made a great point!!

i don't need any more reason why he is such a great leader.in order to be great, one must be humble.he sure is humble.and selfless.he always thinks of his members first before his own.for someone who is an only child, he sure is one generous guy, and very caring indeed.i suddenly had this vision of him being a great dad, raising a wonderful family in the future.
When Shownu dislocated his shoulder in real men (? the one where he went to army) my heart broke. Can't imagine how overworked and tired he was back then. Plus he took it so bravely despite being in pain mad respect
He is talented in many ways, but thats not all. He is such a kind person with a big heart. He really is a bear, strong and big, but also protective and soft and cuddly. And he always try to put other before him.
Shownu does not need the spotlight for himself, he want the spotlight for his group.
Besides all this he also has a great sense of humor, is adorable in his shyness and will do everything to make sure the others around him feel good. If men like him would be in charge our world would be such a peaceful place!

What makes Shownu a great & amazing leader is that he is the literal ROCK, CORE, & PILLAR of not ONLY Monsta X but Monbebes as well.
His cool, “unbothered”, exterior allows him to take anything & everything in & calmly & collectively before dealing with it, GOOD OR BAD.
Shownu CONTINUES to be HIMSELF despite of all the spotlight, all the criticism, all the hardships & all the success. He puts in 101% each & every time & STILL believes that he can work harder.
HUMBLE does not BEGIN to describe what Shownu is.
HARDWORKING does not begin to describe what Shownu is.
Shownu continues to inspire his members AND us into being the best versions of ourselves without focusing on the negative.

What’s funny is that I got into Monsta X through seeing clips of Hoseok and Hyunwoo, and seeing an introvert being the leader for a group- ie Hyunwoo- made me relate to his so much. I have to be the team leader with friends and in school projects as no one understands what we are doing so I’ve had to take rein. It’s nice to see someone who is kept humble and doesn’t conform to society no matter how much people try to tell him otherwise. I’d just love to have a conversation with him someday and just know who he is as a person off camera. I’d like to see the human away from the screens where he might be more comfortable

What a man. I mean that in more than a sexual way. He is strong, and mature. Not too mature that it's boring, but that he knows when to step in and help, while stepping back and letting others take over. That takes maturity that I don't see a lot in guys that I've met. Shownu is one of the biases in MX. I guess I have three biases, and Shownu always tops the top 3. He really's almost too perfect. That's why I enjoyed his mukbang, because it was the first time that he showed his true colors and what he thought was funny and entertaining, while doing what he loved. Eating and talking about food. His love for his members melts me every time. I don't like seeing him away from his brothers, because he does look sad and lost. Like a baby bear away from its mama.
Look, I enjoy shipping people as much as the next fangirl, but I never take it seriously, unless the members actually come out and say something about it. It's a small fantasy that I sometimes enjoy. I love his love and compassion for the other members. I enjoy the domestic life that MX have with each other. It's so cute, charming and funny, that it should be a sitcom. However, I respect the boys and whoever they may be, because let's be honest, we don't know them personally. Even when they try to do vlives, they only show what they're comfortable with showing. Which is an honor, and we should NEVER take advantage of that. I understand that some people find shipping to be rude. However, it's simply the workings and imaginations of harmless fans. Yes, you may get upset and say something when a fan does something rude, inappropriate and forceful. However, getting upset over a name is just a waste of energy. Shownu read the name, "Showki" on a vlive, and he thought it was funny, while Kihyun just sighed. This proves to me that Shownu is mature, because he's not bothered by the imaginary homo-romantic and homosexual name that fans came up with. Say what you want, it's just a name and it can't hurt anyone, unless you let it. Shownu is also fine saying yes to fans proposals on vlives, allowing fans to enjoy an exciting moment, but not taking it too seriously. It's all fun, guys. Just enjoy the fun you have with the members and respect them as humans, but don't over do it. Because the members know that you guys will all grow up, and move on. It eventually happens. You may think it won't for you, and I thought the same thing about my favorite VK band, but, I out grew them. I grew up and moved on. It's okay. That's how it is, and it's perfectly normal. Shownu works hard because he wants to give his best, and allow the other members to shine brighter than the other musicians, artists, and entertainers. He understands the industry and does everything he can to maintain and climb higher than the rest.
Love and support Monsta X, because they work hard for where they're at, and do what they love.

I saw a video of papa bear crying when Wonho was saying that Shownu told him that he doesn't what he'll be without Monsta x and monbebe and it was so sad😭 it's like we're his everythink!! Stanning Shownu ( Monsta x) was truly the right choice. They are so great, the fandom too ( although those days sadly we have to fight in order to defend them) I hope that we'll always be together with Monsta x!!! Fighting guys !! 😊
