Looks weird in the character screen. Looks sick in-game, though. I feel like you don't notice that the legs are short in game but it makes the characters arms stand out, which is great and makes the attacks more satisfying
Must say it runs smooth on 12400F+3600TI+32GB@32mhz, not my genre but must say I enjoyed the time spent playing. Graphics, setting, art style, controls and even the voices, everything is double thumbs up here, imo.
A lot of comments online about the weird controls (run, dodge and climb all mapped to the same button, and the Mushroom cave in particular), gear durability and some terrible performance (as per usual these days). Looks gorgeous, but possibly a brief wait as they release patches.
the whole reason developers realised this early was so they could get feedback like this so that when they officially release it full price it’ll be as polished as possible
I was thinking the same thing; I _hope_ that these aren't supposed to be regular humans or something. Otherwise - what the heck were they thinking when they were designed. lol

I’m hearing the only people dislike about the game is the resource management aspect. It’s not a survival horror game so the inventory shouldn’t be finite.
It's beautiful and not smeared by ESG and DEI crap. So I bought this game cause the story telling is not shitty at all and is very interesting. Kudos to the developer Mahler for not bending the knee to ESG but bends a knee to true gamers instead.

Hope they can achieve a locked fps on consoles without sacrificing a lot the fidelity (4k30 will be good if locked) because so far this game struggles even on an expensive PC, visually this game is impressive and the art style is unique and beautiful, DF explained how they are trying innovative technical stuff with this game! its really great to see a studio taking risks, wish them all the luck

you should do something about the controls, took me 10 minutes to find a spot where was possible to sidle to wall..also, when the camera moves, the movement direction changes if you hold the same arrow..it should be possible to control with a mouse like diablo

It looks like some parts are being skipped. Like at 27:00, after being defeated by the axe wielding guy then drowning, it skips to a different area.
I tried this game, got stuck on the beach area for 45 minutes, didn't know where to go or how to progress to the next area, uninstalled.
