I remember watching this on tv and my sister in law (who has no knowledge of kpop whatsoever) sat next to me and when she heard them sing this, she was so surprised and asked me "they can sing???" lol i guess she had the impression kpop idols cant really sing and just rely on their good looks or something so the fact that she was genuinely impressed by shinee made me really proud :)

Just like Onew. Although he's a very competent dancer, there's a general consensus he's a bad dancer, simply because he's dancing next to people like Taemin and Key. If you watch an Onew focus performance you'll see how sharply he hits his moves. But he doesn't get recognition for this because dancing is not his natural talent and therefore lacks the flare Taemin and Key have when performing.

Tae is definitely giving off that manly aura now...his posture and everything just exudes masculinity, even in that floppy lady hat. I'll always treasure Jjong and Onew's voices, but I have to say that Tae is definitely starting to take over my vocal bias in SHINee. It's strong yet soft...falling in love with it

Kiki Ho I won't disagree about the singing style part but talking about parts in this song does not sit well. The four of them share many similar verse, and have a lot of difficult ad lib. In other songs, that may be the case. But not for this one.

But if you listen to it again you can't deny Jonghyun constantly sings the higher range, so does Taemin (not as much as Jonghyun though), while others share more of the medium to lower range. I love Onew's voice. he's done a very excellent job in maintain stability, but that doesn't mean he's relaxed and others are struggling. Onew is always a calm singer, he stays calm even when his voice cracks

Ahhh...I just realized that Taemin makes cute little hiccup-y noises when he's breathing in between lines. I've been listening to this song on repeat and finally I know where that's coming from haha so cute:)

It seems like Jonghyun and Taemin were struggling at some parts. I think Onew and Key sang this song the easiest. And I hear you over there Minhoho~ ^.^

Kiki Ho I won't disagree about the singing style part but talking about parts in this song does not sit well. The four of them share many similar verse, and have a lot of difficult ad lib. In other songs, that may be the case. But not for this one.
urik19 This is a difficult song. On one's part is easy. But if you listen to it again you can't deny Jonghyun constantly sings the higher range, so does Taemin (not as much as Jonghyun though), while others share more of the medium to lower range. I love Onew's voice. he's done a very excellent job in maintain stability, but that doesn't mean he's relaxed and others are struggling. Onew is always a calm singer, he stays calm even when his voice cracks
SHINee - "best live performers" is a well deserved title after all. :3
