+Tsuiko Yashia ....well, I hate to burst your bubble, but they're very autotuned here. You can clearly hear it behind their own voices, the robotic noises. I'm a fellow EXO-L, but I agree that they're not perfect. Kyungsoo and Chen? I really have no complaint. But despite how amazing BaekHyun's voice is, he can get a little pitchy when singing live. I'm not saying they're not amazing singers, I'm just saying that, like with every other artist, they need a little help with autotuning, especially when singing with the really strong harmonies that songs like this one has. Journey is very hard to cover. Not a lot of people can sing Journey's music quite like Journey can. So it was a great challenge for the boys to take this song on as a challenge. Not as good as the original, but pretty sweet to the ears as well. :)

Kyungsoo's control here is absolutely amazing. When given songs that are in his vocal range, he's incredible. I love the sound of Luhan's vibrato, he can hold his own pretty damn well for being a lead vocalist and singing with the main vocals.
***** He's still a lead vocalist though :) usually there's a huge gap between lead vocalists and main vocalists in a group, but Luhan, as a lead vocalist, holds his own very well when singing with Chen, Baekhyun and D.O who are all technically stronger vocalists.

I just couldn't help laughing at Baekhyun's accent. Like you got D.O who sounds almost fluent, then Chen who's got a bit of an accent, and Luhan who's like got some things to work on, and then there's Baekhyun.
I ordered Chen's new album & received it on May 16th! It's all ballads & I love that it's not a big mix. His voice is stunning & beautiful! I think he's WAY up there in top singers. See him singing on King of Masked Singers "Stained" & on Immortal Songs w/Baekhyun(whom I also think is in the same class). They were about a year after debut. Raw talent! ❣

You can't just have 3-4 dominant, distinct voices that all act as accents, you need a base to build them on and gel these accents together. The rest of the group may not have as many lines, but they really come thru and change the chorus parts and when they harmonize. +Tsuiko Yashia ....well, I hate to burst your bubble, but they're very autotuned here. You can clearly hear it behind their own voices, the robotic noises.
I'm a fellow EXO-L, but I agree that they're not perfect. Kyungsoo and Chen? I really have no complaint. But despite how amazing BaekHyun's voice is, he can get a little pitchy when singing live.
I'm not saying they're not amazing singers, I'm just saying that, like with every other artist, they need a little help with autotuning, especially when singing with the really strong harmonies that songs like this one has.
Journey is very hard to cover. Not a lot of people can sing Journey's music quite like Journey can. So it was a great challenge for the boys to take this song on as a challenge. Not as good as the original, but pretty sweet to the ears as well. :)

Kyungsoo's control here is absolutely amazing. When given songs that are in his vocal range, he's incredible. I love the sound of Luhan's vibrato, he can hold his own pretty damn well for being a lead vocalist and singing with the main vocals.
***** He's still a lead vocalist though :) usually there's a huge gap between lead vocalists and main vocalists in a group, but Luhan, as a lead vocalist, holds his own very well when singing with Chen, Baekhyun and D.O who are all technically stronger vocalists.

I just couldn't help laughing at Baekhyun's accent. Like you got D.O who sounds almost fluent, then Chen who's got a bit of an accent, and Luhan who's like got some things to work on, and then there's Baekhyun.

***** cut everyone elses voice out from exo and you'll have something like an omelette without the eggs. You can't just have 3-4 dominant, distinct voices that all act as accents, you need a base to build them on and gel these accents together. The rest of the group may not have as many lines, but they really come thru and change the chorus parts and when they harmonize. I dont know where you're getting at tbh and I'm sorry if i offended you but you can't disregard the talent the others have for singing.

You don't see Chen dancing a lot do you.
