Thank you, Kendall! I love driving with you and remembering Kauai. I would like to see a drive down towards Anini Beach if need an idea. Such a wonderful beach. My wife and I love to spend lots of time there! Blessings.
Aloha. And, Mahalo for these videos. We have been to Kauai a few times and also think of it as our favorite place to visit. Speaking of Rice St...there is a plot of land just over a ravine off Rice St. near a stream. I was trying to see if it materialized during your drive on this portion of Rice St. But, I couldn't tell from your footage. As you turned past the turnoff to go to the airport, over to the right it looked like the area I'm thinking off. It is near some other homes near the stream. But, anyway.
Thank you so very much for these videos! We were lucky enough to travel to the island in January right before all this craziness and we fell in love. We stayed at the Marriott so this was our stomping grounds during our stay. We would go to that ABC store daily. We also had a wonderful dinner at JJ's. We came later in the evening, not realizing they had closed shortly after we arrived but were so kind and welcoming, not rushing us, making it such a lovely dinner. This helps to lift my spirits and makes me feel connected until it's safe for us to return.
Thank you for this tour. I've been there twice and think it my second home. I live in Sweet Home, Or ... less than 9K pop. 1.5 hr to the ocean and 1.5 hr to snow ski resorts. I am 2mi from the lake and kayaking. Yet, Kauai'i is often where my heart is. I have subscribed and will be looking for more rides along my fav roads. Mahalo and Aloha.
I’d like you to let everyone know what has closed due to the pandemic. It’s my understanding that many businesses have closed permanently. I’m a yearly visitor, having gone to Kauai for the last 30 years. I know these are terrible times for many local businesses.
I'd like to do that, but I'm afraid there's no way to keep up with it.. and I'm afraid I wouldn't get it right! However, I can recommend the Facebook Group called "Kauai Life." They are pretty upbeat about things and there's a ton of info about what's happening on the island. Thanks for watching! Stay tuned for more, and be safe. Mahalo!
Just a little Scion TC, with the "release" series package with extra sway bars and special trim. It's not a new Corvette, but it's a great little car and fun to drive.
Aloha Kendall! Excellent video. I actually had my trip booked for the end of September but had to push back to October due to the mainland travel being pushed back to October 1st. How is the vibe right now sir? I want to come out and hike etc are the trails open as normal? Mahalo 🤙🏽
I hope you get to come to the island. Since the mainland isn't doing so great, and Oahu is in worse shape lately, October 1st is even in question. A lot has changed here this week, so I'm not sure about trails and such, but look up "County of Kauai" on Facebook, and maybe "Governor David Ige." They are both constantly posting new videos and news conferences with updates on restrictions. It's hard to keep track what guidelines and rules apply to Kauai or just Oahu. Best of luck, and thanks for watching the video! Mahalo!
I lived Maui back 2005 and I always wished I would have shipped mainland Toys 2 dakines at 1 grand pop. Coulda made my fortune. Especially 1986 toys with front locker hubbers.
That's interesting - and funny - about the Jeeps. I imagine a lot of tourists come out of the store and try to get into the wrong one (or two or six) before finding the correct one.
I so miss Kalapaki bay and Duks
Beautiful Kauai 😍
Love Kapaa.
Awesome! So nice to watch this and hear your voice again. Keep making videos. Of the beach please!
Oh, thank you! What a treat. Please made more. Take us around the island with you!?!
More to come! Mahalo!

I don't know of a stream there.. but I probably just have never noticed it... Thanks for watching!
Marriott is our go to on Kauai.

We own a Toyota Tacoma! Does that mean we need to move to Kauai?
Absolutely.
I live there

What sports car do you have?

Kendall Weaver Thats so cool glad you’re enjoying it
Could you please do a Kauai Costco video walking through all the isles?
