I know these probably aren't your favorite videos to put out, but they're honestly my favorite and bring a bit of nostalgia. I got hooked on the channel during the pandemic - I was unemployed and staying home with my newborn son watching the Bandon vids so it’s always a treat when an EAL course vlog or every shot is dropped.
An anecdote after watching this video: I’m a halfway decent golfer. My handicap was in the 5s this summer, slipped to the 7s now. I was inspired by this vid to go out and try to shoot a course vlog. I played the front 9 of my home course. I typically shoot 39 around that track. 38 on a good day, but never worse than 42. I made it through seven holes of filming before I had to stop. I had zero pars, never even sniffed a single birdie. I lost like five balls. Multiple holes where I exceeded double par. It was like trying to bounce between filming and golf made me forget how to do either of them with any sort of competence. I don’t know what’s hard about it. It’s not like when I play golf normally I’m doing things I can’t do on camera. I don’t adjust lies or take mulligans or gimmies or any of that! So that wasn’t adding strokes. But something about trying to film my round was a total failure. I put the camera away and par’d 8 (fairway, GIR, 2 putt), birdied 9 (fairway, on in two, two putt). Went back and played the first 7 holes without the camera. Finished +4 in the 9 holes I didn’t film (8,9,1-7). I have a tremendous amount of respect for both the golf talent and filmmaking talent that goes into what you guys do. I wonder if I could play halfway decent golf on camera if I wasn’t the one filming and just had to golf. I know I sure as hell can’t do both concurrently. So all that to say I have no course vlog for you. I was really looking forward to Erik completely roasting my swing.
Big thanks to EAL for always taking the hits of publicly displaying his consistent inconsistency much like ourselves. Production Pros still lazered in on killer content.
Woah, this was cool. And different. I think this might be the first golf vlog I've watched without any music (and I always love your music choices). It complimented the course and the golfing atmosphere perfectly. I felt like I was in a beautiful golfing trance watching it. Some lovely shots in there Erik.
I love the way you stepp around the lie after the ball left the spot… And even better: - That was a pretty good shot! 216 off the stick, and a 6-iron? Erik, You are a beast! I only hit my 6-iron 170 meters!
Played this course in early September, shot my best front 9 ever on par but ended up on 80 strokes (10 hcap). One of my best rounds anyway. Happy to see you play and enjoy it!
The golf sounds are what we're all here for. Also, that two-face analogy hits so hard! Just emailed you video of a round from this week where I shot 91 with 2 triples, 2 quads, and 2 birdies. Quite the rollercoaster
I agree with EAL, I would rather strike the ball well and not score well than slap it around and feel like didn’t hit the ball well but score was better than striking was reflected. I’m with ya EAL :)
yup me too. my lowest scoring rounds were filled with thin to wins, great mishits and some cool chips but that was not fun. id rather hit the green everytime and 3 putt hahah.
What a beautiful looking golf course, never thought about playing Sweden/Finland but the Layout at Aland is Stunning and inviting. Another good golf video Eric and the team. I also loved the Scottish golf course Vlogs, St Andrews being a favourite as I was fortunate to play the Old course myself this year and hope to do so again sometime.
Great birdie try on 18 (and sucky par tap in). Very envious since half my ancestry is about 10.5 hours away in Vaasa/Laihia. That's driving and 3 to 4 ferry rides.
Wait... can we seriously send footage of our rounds and have you add voice over commentary?? I would consider it a tremendous honor to have my swing/golf game roasted by the RGC team.
I just went out and did it after watching this video last weekend, I was alone, walking, and I finished 18 holes in a few minutes shy of 4 hours. And it wasn't a short course either, I walked 6.5 miles in total from the first tee to the 18th green. I even played through a group of 4 on the 10th tee. It really doesn't add much time at all if any, just a bit of multitasking. You have to find each ball, assess the lie a bit, think about club selection, yada yada yada... while you're doing the thinking and/or waiting for the fairway/green to clear you can be popping down the tripod and hitting the record button.
Greeting from Finland! Great video. The “Why?” dude was funny. Uptight and clearly has never watched RUclips golf videos 😂 Next time come play with us. I promise you, no memos needed.
Filming every shot would be brilliant, but I've not those resources. BUT I did have a non-golfing friend along one day and she caught the ball leaving my clubface (and the sand) on a greenside bunker shot, which ended up rolling right by the cup ans stopping seven inches past. I thought it was going in.

Hearing keffer say hes chasing 79 and his best score is 82 makes me wanna play a match against him cause im in the same damn boat 😂 i live in atx if u need the content lol
Erik, Great video and good looking course. I like this style of video where you are playing alone or with others but I rather like to hear what you're saying and feeling at the time than the, "VoiceOver". Lastly, personally, I play better when I dress better.
I love watching RGC videos, but this one lacked substance and some kind of back story. Really guys? Your in Finland and don’t provide viewers with more story line? I’m still subscribed and look forward to your future content.

The most authentic!
Erik I know these course vlogs make you uncomfortable, but for some reason they're the best ones on RUclips. Thanks for doing another one!

Just when you thought he was out... he pulls us back in! Nice surprise this morning from EAL & the RGC team. ✌
The tracers on this course vlog was on point. Beautiful layout. Great shots you guys.
Big thanks to EAL for always taking the hits of publicly displaying his consistent inconsistency much like ourselves. Production Pros still lazered in on killer content.
How cool you came to my home country!🇫🇮 Course looks amazing!
Honestly the idea of sending you guys golf footage from me sounds awesome, right now I just post my shots on this channel
I played ÅGK (both courses) last summer and was just a perfect day. Greens were just so pure. Nice content, keep it up!

I love watching these. It's just simple pure golf and the landscapes are gorgeous. I could zone out and watch these for hours. Great job boys!
So many vibes. Asmr Eric commentary, lovely cinema. Never go wrong with a round (everywhere) anywhere.
Love this! Played there this summer and it was a great experience! The holes along the water are beautiful!!
Played this course in early September, shot my best front 9 ever on par but ended up on 80 strokes (10 hcap). One of my best rounds anyway. Happy to see you play and enjoy it!
Most definitely the best/entertaining golf vids' to watch. Hooked on the channel for sure.
You got I will Eric! Brilliant Video as always
Hell yes! T-shirt day on the course.
Loved the course. Thanks for having us along.
Peace EAL and crew!
Gorgeous. Reminds me of the foothill courses between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. Absolutely perfect.
My family comes from Åland. I haven't been back since 1999. Would love to go back and play this course!
The golf sounds are what we're all here for. Also, that two-face analogy hits so hard! Just emailed you video of a round from this week where I shot 91 with 2 triples, 2 quads, and 2 birdies. Quite the rollercoaster
Love a casual course, especially one so breathtaking, wowwee.
I agree with EAL, I would rather strike the ball well and not score well than slap it around and feel like didn’t hit the ball well but score was better than striking was reflected. I’m with ya EAL :)

@Keffer I feel you on the chasing 79 bro - had an 81 the other day, but my god that 79 is elusive 🔎
Same boat and still haven't hit 79 yet. Played 18 earlier this week and shot 80 (oof). Keep at it man!
I just made 72 and 90 on following, consecutive rounds… 🎉
Been a fan of RGC for so long and it's cool that you had a opportunity to visit my home country Finland 😍
Great to see you play my home course Erik! Hole 2 is a par 5 so you made a birdie there!
The clip at 7:47 was just magical! spat out my tea🤣

Love these course vlogs … commentary is just great!😅
What a golf course. Absolutely magic. Hey Eric, golf adventures in Victoria. I’ll take you to some of the finest off the beating track courses
Nice vlog and what a beautiful course on Åland! When u miss left on every chip on to green you might consider adjusting a little bit... :-)
Erik's speed control is second to none.
Ohhh an email to send course vlogs to you say... very tempting... RGCLV may just have to cook something up for this one!!👀👀
Great birdie try on 18 (and sucky par tap in). Very envious since half my ancestry is about 10.5 hours away in Vaasa/Laihia. That's driving and 3 to 4 ferry rides.
the "they're losing money" got me so good lmfao
The random golf club line was so funny😂
Sorry… I haven’t seen GoT 😢 Well nice watching you guys, lol! Nice shot Good Buddy!
Great course vlog and tracers. Love it. The vibes are great. Though I did find the hole info in the top right to be a bit distracting (sorry)
Such a fun watch! May I ask what app/program is being used for the tracer? Thanks!
traced by hand 🙏
this was great on the cinematic camera work like it guys
Dang. Looks great.
Nice to see your take on my home course.
That guy was almost FINito😂😂😂 can’t wait to submit my CV!
100% love you to voiceover my round filmed my last two haha, had everything opening birdie, a 8 on a par 3 and a chip in what more do you want
Which Takoma's are you playing?
Great comments guys. Love listening to it.
Wau. Åland is the place to play golf so close to archipelago and Kastelholm castle. Go Finland :)
Love what you do Eric!!!
Wait... can we seriously send footage of our rounds and have you add voice over commentary?? I would consider it a tremendous honor to have my swing/golf game roasted by the RGC team.
Eric you should have come to Kristianstads GK in Åhus Sweden. I would have loved to be in a VLog with you. Love the channel.
Didn’t quite get the point about not hitting when people are moving. Do you not tee off when people in front of you are in the fairway?
Which Takomo Irons is EAL playing? Super curious about those clubs
How much extra time would it add to your round, setting up the camera for every shot, if you were by yourself?

The divots got their own shot tracer. 👌
Greeting from Finland! Great video. The “Why?” dude was funny. Uptight and clearly has never watched RUclips golf videos 😂 Next time come play with us. I promise you, no memos needed.
OHH for sure im sending you my worst PUTTING round golf vlog. LFG!!!
Keep doin goat things man, I love the content!!
For the commentary on course vlogs...maybe some mystery science theatre silhouettes in the lower thirds?
Filming every shot would be brilliant, but I've not those resources. Thanks for this
The second hole is a par 5, so You did make a birdie :)
up north shouldn't you have played 3 rounds in one day not the reverse?
Bridge translation: "Shaft Bridge: This bridge is donated by Berit and Sverker Siren in memory of Axel Eriksson who in the past contributed to the work on the original Castle Railway."
@swiper31 Thank you for that ! 😎⛳
Im using the pose at 07:06, I'm using it at every par 3 from now on!!😆😆😆
I've never recorded myself golfing on the course before. Maybe I should consider submitting that vlog.
I love any shot with a divot tracer
Looks like I'm filming my round this weekend. LOL
Eric, what pants are we rockin throughout this vid?
Unreal pretty course
Your coach Rick should be proud.
I just spat out all the coffee out of my mouth and now its all over my computer screen!!! "GOLF SHIT"...wholly shit.
I'm so excited to see you do a voice over of someone else's round lol
isnt hole 2 par 5?
Hearing keffer say hes chasing 79 and his best score is 82 makes me wanna play a match against him cause im in the same damn boat 😂 i live in atx if u need the content lol
you need to come to Canada!
i wish they said why they filmed over three days
I’d love you to take a look at one of my course vlog. 22 hcp so you’ll have plenty to laugh about
6:14 yes
Standby. I’m sending a video soon. 😊
Erik, Great video and good looking course. I like this style of video where you are playing alone or with others but I rather like to hear what you're saying and feeling at the time than the, "VoiceOver". Lastly, personally, I play better when I dress better.
Hey I got my bets round recorded. Maybe I’ll put some tracers on it and send it in
Come to Sweden🇸🇪
Golf shoes, gloves!
i agree, strike it well and who cares how i score
11:20 talking about 3-putts...but isn't that your normal MO? ;)
Voice like butter
Sign me up for that baller ass bag man. YEW so sweet. Less is more.
Pretty sure that shot tracer tried to spell your name on 2, lol
Hole 2 is par 5. or atleast have been
"why?"
Keffer stans unite
you need some silhouettes over the viewer submitted replays when you do commentary. Like Mystery Science Theater
YES! CLOSE TO MY COUNTRY SWEDEN! CHEERS BROTHER!
493 yard par 4s are stupid. 95% of golfers cannot reach them. Why? Because they are par 5s!
All clubs matter
So the gentleman that complained that Eric played into him at the man’s friend’s request, and then he gets upset? Guess he should’ve played faster
Hands on hips dude needs a friend
I love watching RGC videos, but this one lacked substance and some kind of back story. Really guys? Your in Finland and don’t provide viewers with more story line? I’m still subscribed and look forward to your future content.
LOL. “Golf shit”
Why do you go infront of a guy who gonna hit and then complain?
