Thanks Dave for the pointers about lining up the string and I will put more focus on my up-down motion ... I tend to 'jerk it out' instead of 'controlling' the motion. Already steadier than before! Have a good trip!
Yes, and controlling that motion is the hardest part. It is very metronome like.....so get a beat going in your head, and have it flow out through your hands.
