    I have sensitive skin, prone to congestion and rosacea, and my favourite exfoliant is the Paula's Choice 2 % BHA liquid. i use it once a week, and that keeps me breakout free. i absolutely love it. the pads from Dr. Dennis Gross are amazing as well, but the cost per use is just way too steep for me. i would love to test out the Drunk Elephant Powerpeptide, but there is no room in my routine for it.

    My skin has been very dry and flaky during the winter months here in Canada. The Dr. Dennis Gross daily universal peel works well for me once a week. 💞 My skin type is normal.

    I recently bought Boscia Berry Blend Smoothing Facial at a local TJMaxx, and WOW holy smokes is this stuff ever good! I wasn’t sure if I had heard of the brand before, but I googled it while I was in the store and it seemed like a decent brand. I’m SO GLAD I snagged this AHA/BHA facial product. It makes my face so smooth, and soft after I use it. I love AHA/BHA facial products, but some are really strong so I hesitate using them. But this facial stuff is so gentle, but very effective. I highly recommend it if anyone sees it at the store 😊
    Thanks for your video! I love all the products you mentioned 😊

    Hi, thanks for the many choices. I’ve been using Dermalogica’s new liquid peel. I have mature normal to dry skin. I sometimes use the Dennis Gross glycolic peel pads too. My skin can tolerate pretty much what I throw at it. I also am trying to get rid of melasma which as you know it is stubborn. I read today that exfoliating is the thing to do in 2024. Thanks for this review. ❤

      Exfoliating is SO SO important and I am glad people are talking about it for 2024! I haven't tried Dermalogica's peel but it sounds quite nice!! You are so lucky you can use anything on your skin without issues👍🏻

    I love Paula's Choice BHA liquid exfoliant and the ordinary lactic acid 10%. I do use the ordinary glycolic acid, but i use it on the dry skin on my feet and heels. It works wonders for that

      Ok yes!!! I used to use the Glycolic Acid on my feet too and it's truly amazing for that lol

      I love Paula’s Choice BHA toner too, but…I recently bought Naturium BHA liquid exfoliant, and it’s exactly the same as the Paula’s Choice toner. It feels the same, it smells the same, looks the same. I won’t be spending the money on the Paula’s Choice one now. I highly recommend the Naturium one instead 😊

    Thanks for the awesome recommendations, Ashley! 😊 I have oily acne prone skin and really like Medik8's Press and Clear exfoliating toner that has salicylic acid and tranexamic acid. Another fave is the Morning Expert Multi-acid pads from ThisWorks.

    I have rosacea. Not sensitive skin except where the rosacea is , which is upper right side of face. There is use trentoin and azalaic acid only. Everywhere else I can use the Ordinary 10% lactic acid a couple times a week with my C E F in the AM .and in the A M I only use Azalaic acid in the rosacea prone area. I must add that Azalaic acid has done more to reduce redness and brighten my skin than any other products.

    Hi Ash!Greetings for a happy new year from Athens Greece!I have been watching you for a year now and i have learned a lot!I use lactic, glycolic from the ordinary and i love it.I use the sallycillic masque, i think is great.I have used the glycolic by Kiehls and i loved it but sfterwards my skin had breakouts and the intensifier by skin ceuticals whitch i think is amazing but i can tolerate it rarely.We have a lot of sun and heat still in January so i have to be cautious.I am 52 with rosesea and use a lot of make up at work as an actress so i cleanse my skin thorougly and use oils and masks and cica in between.No procedures yet.I am trying the nature's way!❤

    Great video. I have dry skin, but exfoliating has never been a problem. I just got the Lactic Acid 10% and like the results. I'm not sure when to apply it. Should I put it on the first thing after cleansing (after waiting for skin to dry), or is it ok to put on after an active serum. If I put on after an active serum, couldn't it affect the contents of the serum below? THanks!

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  7 месяцев назад

      I always recommend to apply direct acids "Lactic Acid" after cleansing/ facial mists and before other serums/moisturizer. What is the other active serum you are using? Depending on what it is, if you pair up Lactic Acid with it, it could possibly cause some additional dryness or it may not.

      @@SincerelyMissAsh Thanks! I use a copper peptide, .05 Tretinoin, a fermentation essence, and a hyperpigmentation product with different acids...not all at the same time, but alternating days and nights, try to use the tretinion most nights. Maybe Matrixyl and Argireline. Once a skin doctor told me put on what my skin will tolerate. But I wonder about the different ph numbers and if they affect each other. I got a great hyperpigmentaton product called PIH from Niche Beauty Lab. They have some great products, and free shipping.

    Happy, healthy '24 Ashley. This is unrelated to your video but I forgot what yiu use on your neck instead of tretinoin. Retinaldehyde? I have been having sensitivity out of the blue on my neck. I have been using tret on my face and neck for 2 years now. I use the Drmtlgy Tingl pads. I just started. I use them 2 or 3x a week. It's a mixture of lactic, glycolic and salicylic. Thank you :))

      Happy 2024🥰
      Yes, I will use Retinaldehyde sometimes from Avene but I will also use the Paulas Choice 1% Retinol, the DRMTLGY Advanced Neck Cream and I will also use the Revision Skincare Advanced Nectifirm which is what I have been using the most lately.
      You are so luck you can put Tretinoin on your neck. I am hoping one day I will be able to lol.

      @@SincerelyMissAsh well I was using it on my neck but I have to see what is bothering me. It may be the tret but not sure bc I have been using it for 1.5 yrs with no issues or it may be the Tingl Drmtlgy pads I just bought. The pads don't bother my face. I noticed last night I swiped under my chin and a little by my throat area and woke up this a.m itchy. I'll see what happens but wanted to get something gentler if I need it. Thank you :)

    Ever since using my Curology formula, I have not been able to use my favorite exfoliants-chemical or physical. Anyone else find that to be true too?

      I have found since using Tretinoin, my skin has become a little more sensitive to other active ingredients, especially Glycolic Acid.

    Hi Ash, have you ever done micro needling with Prp? Thoughts/opinion?

    • @SincerelyMissAsh
      @SincerelyMissAsh  7 месяцев назад

      Hey! No, I haven't done PRP before but I have done at home micro needling (dermaroller) but I am not consistent with it as I find it can irritate my skin and cause a lot of redness.
      I believe in office treatments of PRP and micro needling can be VERY beneficial. My mom does PRP and her results have been beautiful! I am sure one day I will do either one or both 😉
