Your gardens are beautiful! The deer are very aggressive eaters here where I am and found that stayed away from boxwood, lavender, catmint and prickly evergreens. With the success that I’ve had with those it has given me the confidence to experiment a little more by adding other deer resistant plants. Thanks for the suggestions I’m going to look for some of those
Great video! I am surprised it didn't get more attention. You are spot on for most of the plants (at least the ones I know for sure as we have them too) - by the way, boxwood would come up as the most popular recommender deer resistant bush. Thank you for ideas on other plants, especially the ground-cover ones!
Deers do eat boxwood and they also eat lilac. Deers eat astilbe too, flowers, leaves, stems…right to the ground. The title of your video reads “deer proof”. You highlight deer resistant. I really get annoyed with click bate titles. There is no deer proof plant or tree. At least be honest with the labeling of your videos. How can anyone believe you now
Not really trying to make click bate here. Just attempting to give some ideas on how to approach the problem of deer eating your plants. It does depend on your area. In my area the deers have never eaten my boxwoods, lilac or astilbe. Again not trying to do anything other then help my viewers Make it a Great Day! Lake warrior
deer do not eat boxwood and both deer and rabbits avoid astilbe. Also, they will not eat lilac leaves and will avoid blooming bushes. I'm not sure where you see click bait here. No plant is actually "deer-proof"
Great video Kevin!
