Really enjoyed this video mate. I thought like you MSRT were a tad smaller but it’s nice to be pleasantly surprised. Impressive facility and really nice employees who take pride in their product.

I’ve got a Ranger Wildtrak, the cover is great but still be careful leaving things in there that don’t like getting wet, mine gets a bit of water but it’s nothing too bad, also just putting some black mountain top horizontal bars on the top of the roller cover as well - I believe the black are pretty rare as the majority are silver.
My biggest issue with it is I really wish Ford had put some LED rear lights on it

But you were in my old stomping grounds - judging by their Postcode MS-RT are just a stones throw from the location of the old Lucas Girling brake factory in Pontypool - I spent 5 years between there and the sister plant in nearby Cwmbran, before leaving for the US in 1990!

Hey Pete in Aus the wild track comes standard with the roll top torneu cover.
Once on, it does reduce bed length so makes it harder to put motorcycles in the back unless tail gate is down.
Pros and cons.
That is why some people don’t spec them I guess 👍
Great content 👌, I've just had an upgrade on my f type s manual, a stainless steel cat back exhaust system from viezu, the loudest V6S in the country ,it's got the v8 roar and a bit more. You've got to experience it. 💥💥💥💥💥

I agree and most people spec them. This is a Ford UK press car used for demos etc and didn’t have one fitted.

"Roller shutter blind" or tonneau cover? I prefer the tonneaus with load carrying capacity. Had a Diamondback HD that would handle 1,600 lbs on top of it with my last truck, but this time going Renegade which is rated at 2,000 lbs (truck payload is 5,600 lbs - 14,000 lb GVWR).
Now…what to do with your upgraded Ranger??….it’s obvious…take it to Sennen Cove with surf boards on the back for a weekend in the waves with Mrs PP!! There should be room for the bikes and loads of luggage! I’m there from 17th but no surfing as I can’t swim but I’m used to a camera!! Cue…”Good Vibrations”…..😎😎😎😎😎😎

Superb vans and pickups with the MSRT conversion work We have a Transit Custom Camper 2021, model, can they fit the MSRT steering wheel for me 🙂 it looks awesome ! TBH one of your best videos for a long time 🙂🙂

Just a quick question what are the weels that you have on the ranger do you think that they would go well on the brand new transit custom
They are MS-RT custom wheels designed for the Ranger. Not sure if the stud pattern and offset would fit a Transit and also don’t think you can buy them on their own 🤔👍
Interesting video. Shame the guy showing you around didn’t expand on what he called ‘waste’ parts taken off when the vehicles arrive from Ford. What happens to them, are the sent back to Ford to be used again, sent off for recycling or just sold off to recoup costs ?
Either recycled or sold on depending on the part. For example bumpers would be recycled and wheels and tyres sold on 👍
@@PetrolPed Makes sense to do that planned collaboration directly and have as much bolted on directly at the Ford production line.
Pete, the biggest question for me would be, what do they do with all the brand new bits they take off?
Some parts (bumpers and trim) are recycled whilst things like wheels and tyres and sold on 👍
@@PetrolPed ok, understood. I guess when they are fully aligned to Ford directly, theEUP should reduce as they are not buying vehicles from Ford and paying for the products they now take off.
