I saw him skating in SD at park and he gave me his board before he left and signed it. It's been hanging on my wall in my room for over 10 years now

Tony is a great guy for doing this for his best friends widow (she’s obviously become a close friend of his also) and her family. It must have cost him a fortune with the light being $799 on its own. But I like that rather than saying “do anything” or “let’s make it traditionally modern/minimalist”, he really took into account what she would like! A really generous man.
Tony Hawk is my son's hero. He's the reason my Tony got into skateboarding. Now he's 27 and he still loves it. When he's angry, worried, down in the dumps - he hops on the board and everythings fine. It keeps his mind healthy and I'm so grateful to Tony Hawk for being such an inspiration to many and he continues to be that. Such a wonderful thing to do and a fab makeover. Loved the designer "geeking out". Loved Tony giving him the board too. Nice one.
Tony Hawk has got to be one of the most kind hearted athletes around! Loving this series : )

It had to be tough for him trying to balance his brother's legacy and embrace his brother's wife's new husband in the remodeling and he truly did a fabulous job with regarding both men in the process.

This is exactly the lesson for folks with large amounts of money that can change people's lives. The power of change comes with a loving heart, Tony Hawk just showed how compassion and integrity is still alive. I loved Ray as well, one of my favorites, so glad Tony held up his promise to take care of his wife and kids, pure brotherhood.
I have two sons with brain cancer. They continue to fight for their lives. They both have young families and one of my sons also has a wife fighting cancer. Thank you for doing this for your friend's family. You are a very good man.

Ray Underhill was awesome and is a total legend. I keep his memory alive from reciting his lines from Animal Chin, Those that know , know!!!!! Du bomp du blink! hahahah . Tony is my hero , has been since 1986. I don't watch these shows but jeez , this is awesome. This gets you in the feels! Thank you.

Tony hawk is a legend, doesn’t care about money and material objects and never has. He’s all about people and friends and family. Legit ass dude.
Tony Hawk is the best. I've been skating since 1989, and he wasn't well liked in the 90's because of his mainstream success. I'm really glad that skate culture came around to appreciate him eventually. He seems like an incredibly generous and down-to-earth guy.

She is human n moved on after his death and is truly accepting of the new husband is AMAZING..! This world has changed so much we dont get to see stuff like this anymore.. This show is AMAZING. Dude.... all of the people saying how great Tony is.... I will just pile on. I've been a fan of his since the 80s... I don't know anything about skating, but a lot of my friends idolized him, so I've always "enjoyed" all of my friends talking about what Tony Hawk is doing now... for SOOOO long. And......... he's never done a single thing that I've seen that made me think that he's anything other than the guy you see in this video. Thanks Tony. A real role model and hero!
Tony Hawk means a lot to me. I remember him landing his 9 on TV. got me into skateboarding. So cool how he cares for his best friend even after he's passed.

I wish I could give this 2 thumbs up. I grew up skating and have met Tony several times over the last 30 years and he is a class act through and through. I never met Ray, but watched him in competitions. It was an amazing thing for Tony to do that for their family. Hawk fan for life here! 👍
