this appears to be in real time? and kick ass uphill right off that start! did you almost get taken out at 1:18 by the plant? and then at 4:28 i screamed like little girl haha you almost got taken out!
Absolutely mind-blowing, dude! This FPV drone video of mountain river surfing is one wild, wild ride. I mean, seriously, you've taken the whole "epic adventure" thing to a whole new level. The way you've captured that white-water adrenaline rush with a drone is out of this world. The footage is straight-up insane, and your piloting skills are through the roof. I swear, watching this, it's like I'm right there on those mountains, feeling the heart-pounding, blood-pumping excitement. This is the kind of content that leaves you craving more, amped up, and ready for action. I can't wait to see what you've got in store for your next adventure - keep living life to the max, my friend! 🤙
Thank you so much, that’s nice of you, I’ve been having such a long downtime at the moment, not sure when I’ll get the next video out, I have lots of flight videos on my HDD. Just have a hard time getting around to Edit and upload, hopefully soon 🤞
Amazing footage. I just lost my setup in a lake because the gps fail safe didn’t work as it should when my goggles lost visual. I’m looking at buying another one, but this time ELRS and commando 8 controller. Would you rate that set up?
@@Skytechaerials Thanks! Sorry for your loss, always test your failsafe before flying longrange. I can’t comment on that setup as I have never tried it, good luck!
@@igoranitsoy not so much to be honest, I tend to push the limits a little everyone I fly 😅 Been flying for about one year when I flew this flight, starting in my backyard
Ooof! It is a lot, but some of it is buy once, cry once, like goggles, controller, charger (Between $1000-2000). Drone = $700, GoPro = $400, Battery pack = $150 (plus extras like diversity receiver, extra antennas, gps mate, wifly finder +) It all adds up! But it’s also spent over time. Best thing is to start with the controller and a good sim, then buy more as you progress.
Yes that is definetely possible, just make sure you have long antennas that doesn’t get blocked by the battery or GoPro, and always place your self in a way so that you can have visual Line of sight the whole way. Only close can you go behind or through smaller tunnels like in the video. Also see me gain altitude when going to the top? That is how far I knew I could fly without losing the visual Line to my goggles and controller, so know your surroundings where you fly and you will be fine :)
@@ArcticriderFPV thanks so much for answering my question bro I really really appreciate it. This is very useful information. I might be trying long range in the future and just wanted to get some insight.
Super smooth, great footage! I have a Hero 8 on my Chimera 7 and it jumps and occasionally the odd shake. Do you use an ND filter at all, what mount are you using?
I use several mounts. This one is top mounted printed in TPU with camera in a 3D printed TPU casing. I film at 30FPS, shutter 1/60, ISO 100 and use ND filters to compensate for the exposure. I film with no stabilization and use Reelsteady GO for stabilizing which helps a little bit in fine tuning any jitters. But drone should be tuned if you get too much jitters.
Using 2x4000mAh 6S batteries I average about 15mins. But that is fast cruising up and down mountains with 1000m++ elevation and going 6-7km out and back. Flying slower and/or more flat will give longer flight times.
@@vuichak4130 as I said, going fast and climbing to high altitudes takes a lot of juice, if I were to just hover in my back yard I’d probably get 30mins

Haha yes it is all real time! 😂 It was close a couple of times alright! 🙀🤘
Wow, what a fun flight that must have been. Simply stunning!
Nice way to synchronies goggles and GoPro ;-) Nice and low, cool through the tube and then the short canyon.
Yeah it was a fun little spot to go fly 😄 Thanks, I had problems syncing the videos before adding audiovisual cues!
Insane control with the big quad🎉🎉🎉
Wow 🤩. So dynamic and powerful 💪! Top video, mate ! Music fits also perfect 👏👏
incredible!
Nice job 😎
What a great place for a cruise with the Chimera
Thanks! Yes it’s an awesome spot 🙌
Fantastic. Well done, lovely flying
Thank you 🤘
Outstanding piloting!! Loved shooting the drain, and flying nap of the earth. Way to set the bar for everyone else! Subscribed
Thanks m8! 🤘 I really can’t believe I don’t crash more often, it’s probably just as much luck as skill 😂 It was a fun spot to fly at!
Nice flight 😊
Only those who fly FPV in acro can understand the rush of this! Nice edit!
Thank you, only a couple of cuts to make it fit the music better :)
so cool footage!
Thank you! 🙌
Nice pilot!!!❤
Truly incredible!!
Thanks 🤘

Beautiful footage. 4:28😱 🫡 that was close lol. good stuff man.
Very nice! 👏👏👏

Nice flying mate.
Thanks! 🤘
Nice flying dude close call while coming in there
Thanks m8! Yeah too close for comfort
I could see this curing depression.
At least you forget about being depressed when trying not to crash into the river in this beautiful landscape 🤩
I fly similar setup as you. Would love to go to Norway and join up with you to rip some spots!
So sick!
Sunscribed!
Amazing flight 😍 I love how you mount your Gopro (below the frame), it's fantastic 👍

Wow😮😮
Great flight 👌 Where oh where did you find that underside gopro mount?
Had flyhighfpv make me an stl
Im going to pick this up soon for my trip to iceland. Do you recommend the csfr nano diversity or the regular csfr nano?
I always recommend the diversity for best signal. It's a trade off with how complex or simple you want your setup.
@@ArcticriderFPV Thanks for the reply I ended up getting the diversity but am still waiting for it in the mail.
Would a 5 inch be able to do this, specifically speedybee master 5 or Nazgûl evoque with Dji 03 ? Or would it loose signal before it reach the top

I wish I could live somewhere where I can do this in peace without having fear of prison or crazy people.
Sheesh, where do you live? We have EU rules here, but local law seems much more lenient than any other EU country I’ve been with my drones so far.

Lipo or Lion?
I think I used 2x1500mAh Lipos for this flight.
klicked on it beacuse i expected the mountain pictures to lift me up. somehow a huge turn off, imagening the road and drone noises
😂
Whats the flight time on average? I`m looking to get one as well!

gopro 4k kinda looks like crap, it just this mushy mush
Thanks for your input. 30fps and 1/60 makes for a lot of Motion blur, big quick movements make it look not so sharp, might be why?
