Actually, SPOILERS!!: But I have a theory that since Tsumugi in chpt6 says how she thought the audience would "love to see the weakest detective grow," it kinda suggests Shuichi was always meant to be the protag, & NOT Kaede, so maybe she was NEVER an ACTUAL protag.?? Plus, u play as Kiibo, Maki & Himiko for a few brief seconds in chpt6, yet I don't think that makes them automatically protagonists, so just becuz u play as her doesn't mean she's a protag, like when u see in Kokichi's pov at the end of chpt4 & in the beginning, meeting w/ Monokuma, aswell, plus in sdr2, u see Nagito's pov before Kazuichi & Nekumaru, LIKE DUNCES [idiot, dumbie, st00pid person, etc.], tied him up, & I'm sure I'm missing several examples, but for now, based on the evidence I've collected, maybe Komaru was actually the *ONLY, TRUE* Female protagonist.?? I feel like a bunch of Kaede kinnies & simps r gonna come for me- :,)
Actually, since Chisa was basically narrating Despair Arc, isn't * she * the 1st protag? Then Ryoko, then Komaru, then Kaede. But isn't there a protag for the Kirigiri novels? I think it's either little Kyoko or some girl I've seen with her, then whichever would be the * first * female protagonist ÙwÚ So Kirigiri novels' protag, then Chisa, then Ryoko, then Komaru, then Kaede. Now can y'all stop fighting, Kaede & Komaru?!? ÒwÓ
