Had a listen to the Pleazers debut album… solid garage rock. Getting some of these Raven reissues is high on my want list! Been listening to a bit of the Masters Aprentices too… their third album. Masters started as a great garage rock band in the 60’s & by the early 70’s became great singer songwriters who liked a bit of hard rock too. Legends. Impressive picks ups again. The Church reissues continue to look awesome. The local price on Seance is over $84.00! That is insane. I thought $70 for the Slowdive reissues were crazy, but that seems like a bargain now 😳

Ben, the Church reissue of 'Seance' looks very nice. I do have an original copy. I saw Died Pretty live at a small club in Leicester (UK) back in the day. I also saw Ed Kuepper live, playing to a very small crowd. I love 'Hindu Gods Of Love'. I have that on a 45. I've never seen that album though. I like the look of the Pleazers album.
I have the Church OG's as well, but think that they've done a great job on the reissues and wanted to support the cause. Died Pretty were brilliant & Ron was releasing great work and still a wonderful performer right to the end. I've seen Ed many times in all of his permutations and he's always great. Very much looking forward to the upcoming Saints shows. Hindu Gods is such a great song and the Pleazers are great 60's garage rock. Cheers...Ben

Great video, Ben. Interesting stuff, as always. Nice to see those Church re-issue - all their original albums are just works of art. And, believe it or not, they opened a lot of doors for me. The Lipstick Killers album looks cool. It's been awhile since i heard the band. The Pleazers looks great. I don't know the band but that looks right up my alley, so to speak. Hope you are well. Just checking out Master’s Apprentices for I think the third time. There are a lot of smiles in that Turn Up Your Radio video. But great guitar sound! I’d like to hear some more early heavy stuff from down your way.
Great pickups Ben!......I have that MASTERS comp on RAVEN,Glen A Bakers Label...it"s corker of course! Great score with Ed"s 12 incher,though I think that the mighty ELECTRICAL STORM is out of place here....talking of which,I have fond memories of blasting the E.S album in the darkroom when I was working in Canberra, the problem in Canberra was STATIC and I remember getting little shocks when opening doors etc. //// we had ANTISTATIC mats in the darkrooms which worked a treat.....as much as I loved ELECTRICAL STORM I would scream girlishly every time I gor an electrical shock (please keep that to yourself)
I should check out the early Church reissues. That is a good Masters Apprentice comp. I have that one as well as another one called Jam It Up. I think it was the song Undecided that got me to seek them out.

I obviously need to buy that album by Ed. I am a collector of fine art after all. I recently got an Australian album and when I checked on the producer I found Mickey Young had not produced it. I of course dumped the album in the trash, what kind of crap is that Mike! A Midnight Rave sounded very interesting. I’m pretty sure I need that Lime Spider album, now to see if I can get it in the States. Buying too much lately Mike, I will join that club.

They've done a nice job of those Church reissues for sure, but I'm not sure how wide the distro goes. They're the only editions I know. At least it wasn't the other Pink.

Great to see the Lime Spiders reissue in here. I actually cut the lacquer for that release. It was self-released and was pressed at Zenith Records.
