I grew up in Spokane. My Grandparents lived in Kingston. I last came back over 20 years ago. This drive brought back so many good memories! Thank you for making it! I love the Silver Valley.

I got to go thru there once in a small straight truck. It was May and nice out. Complete snow storm at the 4th of July Pass. Warm and rain to sleet then snow and back again. Nuts in my throat, I made it. I was also told by locals that it's called that bc that's when the weather finally gets warm up there haha. Living in Ohio, driving out west is just different. 1st time I saw an entire train at once was out in Wyoming. Nice video, thanks 🤠

I was hoping you’d go to Wallace. I love seeing the volcano 😁 Great drive Kory! My wife and I have only been out there in late summer and early fall, so it was nice to see how it looks in winter.

We can only hope. Just wishing I started my current job 15 years ago (FedEx Driver in Hawaï’i) so I could’ve transferred up there before prices got crazy and been able to afford a place.

Hi Cory.. Is real estate slightly Cheaper in Silver Valley verses CdL area? Might be worth that drive ,plus you're close to skiing at Silver Mnt. And Lookout Pass.

Great video., We will probably be driving through Coeur D'Alene this July on a road trip with our travel trailer and would like to stop for a few days. Can you recommend any campgrounds within a reasonable drive of the city that we could use as a base to explore the area?

Great video! You make the BEST videos on RUclips ~ and I've watched a lot! Love this one, though... I lived in Spokane August 24 2018 - January 27 2020 and explored North Idaho with my dog. We drove out to Wallace and checked it out, and then did the drive through those towns going west back to Coeur d' Alene. It was fun to see your video with all that scenery and wonderful narration. Looking forward to your Wallace video. :-) Thanks! ~ Patty, Englewood, CO

Thank you, Kory! Katie and I stayed a couple nights in CDA first week of last October. Saw a bald eagle fly over on the boardwalk over by Le Peep. But we drove out to Bayview and Sandpoint on our way out to Whitefish, MT to visit Glacier National Park. The driving tour in this video reminds me of the drive from Sacramento to Truckee, but with a lot less elevation gain. It also brings up a question. Are there properties on the backsides of those hills along 90?

Elizabeth from far north California said, My husband and I really enjoyed the video. The area is gorgeous! Can you do a video with info about gardening and orcharding? With the elevation especially around Lake Pend Oreille when is it feasible to get a garden going. Have you seen orchards? Thanks, Kory.
