Honestly I did not expect this to work at all. Granted I've been learning Italian vocabulary for over a year now, but I was able to connect a few words without hesitation today that I normally have to think about.
Whether this is because of the content itself, or just kept my mind on the topic throughout the night, I definitely woke up ready to keep learning and practicing.
Did not expect to write this, and thought I was just gonna fall asleep and gain nothing from this, but I'm surprised this even worked to keep my mind on this topic throughout the night, which also helped avoid nightmares.
Don't expect to learn the language purely through this video, because that's not going to happen, but I do think there is some value to exposing yourself to the language while your mind is in this state.

The ads are a RUclips problem rather than the channel. Having said that, I think every channel has the responsibility when they are creating a video to listen to while sleeping ( or for meditation or relaxation), that they can set it up that there are no ads.
Yes, they will lose the monetization for those videos, but especially if it's only a small part of their total content output, I think it shows some sensitivity that they do that.
The only other way around it is to pay for RUclips which removes their ads.

Ads don’t work for this to be a calm, sleeping, learning experience. The volume increases with each ad. Ugh!

I like this video because it is helpful in a way but it would be easier to have the words said a little slower in Italian. Just some feedback if you happen to make another video like this 😊😊

How are you expected to "Learn while you sleep" when the ads keep waking you? How do you say "This is bullshit" in Italian?
I could do without the ads in between. It interrupts the flow of it and takes me out of the element.
I agree, Channel creators should demonetizing any videos that are geared to learning while sleeping (or for meditation or for relaxation), by removing the ads

Learning while one sleeps as a well-established technique that works. You're not "working at" learning. It's a different way to learn.
Having said that, I don't know that one can learn things exclusively while sleeping, but it's an excellent supplement to other methods.
Again this is something that's being taught for many decades now and is helpful.
