Sick fights man. Much respect for flying solo and stomping people. Only thing I disagree with is ECM drones being toxic. Not that I use them often, but people having a get out of jail free card can be handy I would think. Guy just really messed up his one opportunity heh. If they're in the game, he is smart for packing some. I've been messing around with that Condor fit. Refit for a little more damage, and less brawl. My targets aren't typically built to fight back at the present moment. But the medium extender/neut is wild. Watching you bust out some crazy ship/weapon/module combos is really opening my eyes to the possibilities in the frigate side of things.

I really like how you walk through your decisions because I'm a new player trying to crack into FW PvP, it's very helpful. I tried to recreate your slasher because it seemed like less module management, but I didn't have anywhere near enough skill points to fit the cpu and power rig needs. It got me thinking about all the other skills I would need just to achieve the same damage numbers between tracking skills, range skills, fire rate and everything. Maybe you could show us a frigate with lower requirements to hop into for us alphas? I don't even know if I should PvP for the first 2 months because of the lacking skills.
I am glad the commentary is helpful. For a new player both the slasher and condor are not the best choice because they are quite limited on dps and fitting resources so it is not the ship I would suggest. The merlin and incursus on the other hand are easier to use and have less fitting limitations, same with the punisher. I am planning to create a new character in the next weeks to make videos on how to find and win fights as a new/alpha pilot but of course that will take some time to set up. Please do not give up and keep going! You will learn and skill more over time and your success rate will go up. 🙂 If you like we can meet ingame for some test and practice fights, you can mail my char "Tian Zaharin" and I can show you some tricks.

You use the Punisher with blasters. I didn't know this was a common fit and looked it up. I'm very curious: Is it common to choose other weapons that aren't buffed by the faction Frigate skill?
it is not very common but for ships like the punisher without damage bonus it is a valid thing to do as @bifibloust2240 said. I also like to fly an autocannon Crucifier with tracking disruptor wich is super strong and fun aswell! I have videos on both of those if you wanna check them out 🙂

Caracal made a big mistake, he had Tech II Heavy Missile Launchers and NO Precision Missiles, those would have gotten you.

Punisher actually don't have any DPS bonus, only a cap consumption bonus
