She doesn't do the dismount right either. Dismounts like the Patterson require a huge amount of momentum and the reason she sits it down every time is because she walks slowly to the end of the beam instead of running to the end. I honestly don't understand Valeri Liukin. Seems like he only did a good job with his daughter.
I totally agree, Rebecca should've done a round off back handspring or two back handsprings before her double Arabian... and Tim and Elfie need to go and they need to bring in Courtney Kupets instead :)
Prince Diamond i agree with the last sentence ..you have no idea how much,..nastia was the only gymnast he actually paced well ...no crazy skills ..and focused on execution but with rebecca he threw these hard skills that were obviously not in her range of capability which is why she was injured and never consistent, katlyn ohashi was the exact same thing like why would you do a 7.2 DOD routine when you are 14 like he paced her terribly
She can! The reason she looks great in training videos is that if Valeri thinks she'll get hurt on the dismout he'll catch her before she lands, and that definitely helps calm her down. In competition she probably messes up because of 50% nerves, 50% fear of getting hurt. I think that's why she fell on the dismount. That's my opinion
I don’t have to remember which competition it was. If I see “beam”, “2012”, and “Rebecca Bross” in the video title, I know I’m going to see a sat down Paterson.
Its so sad to me how far Becca has fallen. Dont get me wrong, she's still great, but she's just not the gymnast she use to be in 2009 and 2010. And its sad because you can see how frustrated and upset she is at not hitting these routines that she use to do so well. She use to be so great on beam, but now her only absolutely consistent and great event is bars. She was so promising as an all-around, but now with that leg injury, its a no-go. I just dont understand why they dont change the dismount
I still think this was scored a little high...because with that fall on the dismount she still gets a 13.550 not to mention all the issues with the interior of the routine...should have been in the 12's plus she was overtime. Poor girl. Try better next time Bross.

Agree. She doesn't generate enough speed or power (i.e., punching the beam) to generate enough lift hence the under-rotation.
@@kevinsam3078 Same with Katelyn Ohashi

if valeri is so “frustrated” why is he continuing to make her do that patterson dismount? why not just a double tuck? or anything else really
I heard she insisted on doing it to impress Martha, but it had the opposite effect.
CHANGE THE FREAKING DISMOUNT!
Sad indeed. And as you know now the 2nd night of the Olympic Trials was just horrifying. Who could have imagined that it would end like this for her?
lately she's been very consistent.......................with that fall on the dismount
Rebeca bebe 😍😚 hermosa 😘

yes in 2010 she did

I don't get it! Just do another dismount if you barely get it right. This is why the specialist I choose is A-Sac or Nastia
She's still better than anything I could do!!
💔💔
her dismount has almost become a built-in one point deduction. you know she's going to fall
What could have been…
has she ever landed it?

This girl had no business doing an Arabian or dty which is why she got hurt.
