Did no one question Valeri why he allowed Bross to struggle with this dismount for so long?!?!? He's her coach. He should've made her stop performing this dismount back in 2011.
Actually it's not bull. Check out the video "why I disagree with Valeri Liukin." A lot of people believe he was trying to make sure Nastia got on the olympic team. But she kept falling on her ass and face at the trials. All he did keeping that dismount (The petterson) in Bross' routines was mess her up.
if she does a double back dismount not only will it be better on her knee she'll have a better chance of sticking a dismount for once, and she's obviously worrying about the dismount the whole routine so if they give her a dismount she can stick or just possibly LAND then her routine will be better.
totally agree with you, i dont think it's bull either. in retrospect it was very clear that there was definitely a UB/BB spot was open. i think had nastia stuck her bars she would have been given at least the alternate spot anna li was given, if not kyla's spot on the team. valerie would have undoubtedly focused on nastia over rebecca BUT to be fair, i think rebecca is stubborn enough that she would have been forcing herself to try to land the patterson, even if valerie had advised her not to.
I felt sorry for her in not sticking her landing right, and having a difficult time competing in gymnastics competitions. Since after her injury on Vault at the 2011 Visa Championships Day 2.
Matthew Kretschmer she never stuck it anyway. I think maybe once or twice she did at a competition but she was never consistent with the dismount before and after her injury.
She seems to be terrified when doing that dismount, i heart stops every time I see it, I have no idea where she will land. Just change it to a clean double back and she will be fine Also they are they worst leotards I have seen in my life.

I disagree with that. Val has always been nothing but an amazing coach. He and his gymnasts have openly said thathe lets them figure out what they are ready for after injury come back. Becca has always done that particular dismount its something that she loves but has always struggled with even before the injury. She screwed her self in this routine by not being confident in her self. Nastia screwed her self out of the UB/BB spot from not being ready in time, something Val openly said
