Oh my goodness If you don't mind me asking, how exactly are you accomplishing this effect in which it looks almost as if the game is being rendered at a higher resolution, including the rendering of sprites and the render resolution of physics meshes? (e.g. the sprites maintaining their shape when moving, and physics objects such as tails appearing much smoother) is the game running at a higher resolution, or have you somehow managed to zoom in the in-game camera/increase the size of the objects?

i think it's something called the sharpener mod, idk, i play on switch
I use a custom mod that zooms in on the player & has a few other controls.
