There's a Mt Fuji in Singapore? No way!

  • Fujihill is a moniker for a small conical, volcano shaped hill at Bukit Batok Central. On it was built a Neighbourhood Park back in 1983 and has been my go-to park for leisure, walks and birding as I lived just beside the park.
The park underwent a renewal after 35 years and was recently re-launched for the residents after a long closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Here are some views of the renewed park, shot coincidentally on the day it was relaunched by the Member of Parliament.
You can read some of my blog articles about the park at these links:-

I found this very interesting James. I first made a trip to Singapore in 1984. Most of the following trips I have stayed at Yishun St 21 and we also have a type of Mount Fuji (Yishun Neighbourhood Park). There also have been changes and renovations to the park over the years. Thanks for sharing.
