I always put the new team on defense.
Most players won't have faced it yet and presumably it's going to pull a great offensive team even if you don't have it built all the way up yet. Or sometimes they'll throw in a wrong counter because it's too new.
Works for a few rounds until people figure it out.

I got scared when I saw the team on defense with no captain Britain. They're pretty weak and I beat them with just new warriors. Finally they have use.

In stage 4 pav clears the blind when he goes but his attacks still miss. I can't explain why I just know it happens. It's happened in my benefit and I've seen it on multiple different streams and videos
Applying blind on stage 4 gets cleared but attacks still miss for that character. Probably a bug, but it still happens.

first of all, thats not even all the illuminati characters we have in game. thats just OOT with the one new character and a meh old character.
All 4 of them together without Pym even, would do better than that in terms of Illuminati actually doing something.

So saying Illuminati sucks on defense, while it may be true at the very top. Most people do not spend 500 bucks a month on this game, and would be able to get some good value out of them if they get Shuri, even if they arent amazing. Just them being a new team, means mine will hold against all of my opponents, because at Gold, with 20m tcp against all 50m+ tcp players, none of them know any counters at all and i just have to make sure to punch up against their 3m power teams more cleanly than they punch down against my 1m power teams.
Illuminati will most certainly get just as many holds as my M4M(with only Logan and Deathpool actually upgraded) purely because of them being new. My Logan still gets holds often though even though people are figuring out counters to him now, just cuz hes so op. I do not expect that from partial Illuminati. But they will 100%, for normal, sane people like me, who dont spend enough money to feed a family of 4 for a month on this game, work quite well.
Or on offense! Could not punch down 200k against Merc for money in room 3
My current testing of Illuminati has mediocre at best. I want to chalk it up to BPShuri being low stars and not having Hank yet, but my initial thoughts are that this team SUCKS!!!
