Cross play is the savior feature!? It’s a nice to have and benefits PC players most but it’s far from a ground breaking innovation that would “save” the franchise.
It has to be a good game. This is there last year under a contract deal with NFL so if it’s bad the NFL might not sign the deal and that means other people can makes football games
That’s never going to happen it would take to long and people wouldn’t want to block they would want to get the ball because they don’t know the people that’s dumb just do 3on 3 or 5 on 5
They play games with 100+ players and tons of mechanics and building, the game would handle it fine, you just don't understand the capabilities of todays gaming
The problem is, they've been adding more and more things every year without polishing what they need to. And they've known they can get a away w/ it because it's not like we can play any other NFL game, because they own the rights. Honestly, hope Madden 24 is bad so we can have a different company try to make a game, imagine seeing another 2KNFL game.
I miss the older madden on the ps2 it seem more fun you can create a fan create a team they even had older teams you can play as they had a feature that a lot of people hated you can rewind stuff 😂😂
… bro, have you even payed attention ? in personal experience, the game bugged out MULTIPLE franchises that i was deep into ( once with a coordinator glitch, where your coordinators leave every year, until there are none left in the league, leaving you stuck because you can’t move on without one, and once to where i literally just couldn’t load into it anymore ), and my career mode, to where it just put me onto a random team, after re-signing with the saints. those are game-breaking bugs. bugs that shouldn’t be in a game from a TRIPLE-A company. those are the things you work out before you release. EA is literally the only company that can get away with releasing games in such a state.

They needed to improve the tackling and actually have the “play ball on the air” trait to matter (as well as adding somewhat of a vision effect on playing the ball, I do think it was a nice touch… now they just need more fluent secondary play and LBs who can actually impact the play w/o an ability)
Honestly madden 23 was better than the last 2 maddens 22 franchise was literally busted and buggy my save data on 22 would constantly corrupt and was a problem for many people and 21 was just whatever it wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great either i think madden 23 on next gen is one of the best madden’s in a long time but i’m also mainly a franchise player so probably depends on were you are spending your time

23 wasn't the worst Madden ever. 06 on XBOX 360 was. Or Madden 96 on PS1 since it was so broken it never released. Anyway, crossplay is worthless when the game on the field is a POS.
I feel like people expect too much off of sports games because they come out with the same game every year because there’s only so much that happens in technology growth from year to year And sometimes companies don’t wanna completely rewrite the mechanics to a game just add one feature that may not even work properly

They gon need a LOT more than that to make up for the gameplay, mechanics, luck based animations, CPU beaters everyone and their mom uses, and all around dumb asf defense that doesn’t learn the same exact play they run(I’ve had someone use the same play over and over and someone was always open no matter what coverage I did, who id cover, etc). It doesn’t skill for madden anymore, you’re actually punished more than anything if you try actually playing the game and not using the same OP plays over and over.
most people crying about madden dont know anything about football anyway. They pass every down 90% of all madden players sit in shotgun all game and 3 down lineman in quarters on defense. And every year EA claims its the worse year and they are adding something new this year they use the same sale tactics to make you throw away the old madden and play the new one. Madden has enough core fans to survive forever.

You won’t be able to have cross play with your friends on franchise mode tho. (Go look at RBTs video on madden 24 for more information)
