- During a recent emergency department visit, I really had to go to the bathroom. After waiting many hours, I was finally allowed to go, but unexpected obstacles hindered me from being able to complete the task without making a big mess! #lifewithavent #emergencydepartment

Funny. I always wipe the seat before sitting down in every public restroom. It will also give you the heads up if no TP
That is great advice. Thank you for sharing.
You can always make me laugh 😂 I love how you can always find the ability to laugh no matter the situation. I hope you are okay, God bless you always 💕🇨🇦
Thank you so much.
Pro tip: you can ask the triage nurse for a urine specimen container while you’re still in the waiting room. This gives you the opportunity to pee before you burst as well as lets them know you’re in the restroom in case your name is called while you’re in there.
You may still need to provide a fresh sample later for certain tests, but at least your bladder isn’t taking up three times more real estate than it should, and the ED can run in fluids or give you water for the next one.
Thank you so much for all the information. Those are some great tips! I really appreciate them.
What an experience! Glad you were able to go and get settled. Hope you are doing better and amazes me that stay cheerful! Miss you.
Thank you. I hope you are doing well.
you have way more patience and understanding than i do. im working on it. proud of you
Thank you.
Last year there was a snowstorm and my friends that were in their 70s.Got stuck on a bridge like everyone else for twelve hours. The storm was terrible. The wind was chilly and it's a good thing. They had a full gas tank. But the wife had to go and it's easier for a guy.But for a womand it's worse especially if you are a senior.
But they were so happy they had coffee cups from mcdonald's.😅. So finally after twelve hours of being old and cold the bridge was cleared and everybody was able to drive home.
Wow!!! I cannot imagine being in that situation! I am so thankful they had a full tank and McDonald's cups! Thank you for sharing.
I always bring a little spray. Can of lysol whenever I use a public washing and if I don't have that I.Lay toilet paper down.
Those are great ideas. Thank you for sharing.

So Funny dear, I'm ordering portex bivona Tracheostomy tube from USA, from vitality website. They are asking for a prescription. I don't have one.
Oh no. Can you get the doctor or nurse to write on stationary with the clinic's name or doctor's name on it: the patient's name, the size of the tracheostomy tube and the number of refills (such as 10 refills). The doctor or nurse should sign the paper. This should work as a prescription.
@@LifewithaVent I got this sorted dear, thank you for your reply
