I just picked up this lens. I wanted to replace my EF 24-70 f/2.8 with the RF version. While researching, I saw this and kept looking into it as an option. So far I am happy with it for the extra range and it is really fast in focusing. I mainly do still images and want to look at doing more video in the future. I think I can use this is my everyday carry since I am used to having my EF 70-200 f/2.8 on it for the most part.
Just got done with the other video on canon's channel ... as a Canon user I feel this will be 'the one lens that does it all' for generations of Canon camera's to come .... the 105 f2.8 will create amazing portraits with amazing bokeh...
I am a Sony user. I already have 24-105 f4. My key focus is landscape videography. It’s this aperture fine ? I guess external zoom is not that much great for gimbal since it affect gimbal balancing
If you are a landscape photographer, you may not need this one. The PZ is for smooth zooming while on Tripod. This lenses is not exactly designed to be used with a 3-Axis Gimbal. 🙏
What about severe blue and green chromatic aberration and very soft image wide open in case of near shot? It was price for this 70-105 range. I prefer to keep better image quality 24-70 f2.8 with 70-200 f2.8
@@dreadnoughtphotowerkz just so you know I have this lens but I don’t use as much as I want to use because of the heft and leave it behind and carry a smaller prime, that was my point in the long run people will always something that is portable and lighter to carry around on travels especially . It was exciting for me for the first few days but the practically eventually took over.
@deeepraveen My point exactly. I'm a working photographer, so I would never use a cell phone to do my job. I could care less about the weight or the size or this lens. So for those who do photograph just while they're on vacation or something like that you're correct maybe this lens isn't a good fit for them. But as a working professional this lens will be perfect.

loved the short film!!
Nice video... Great lens.. 💚
4:34 That's not Aperture ring, right? You were focusing on Focal length ring. I can see Aperture ring is far below.
Thanks for the great video! Could I ask what camera bag that is in the frame?
It’s an Indian camera luggage brand called Mobius. 👍
What is the cost of all these equipments together?

I still prefer Tamron’s 35-150mm f2-2.8. In fact, I moved to sony for this lens.
That’s another excellent lens if you want more at the Tele end. Of course available only as E mount!
@PIXELVIILAGE now available on z mount as well.
What about stills for birds and butterflies? 105mm zoom is that enough?
May be Butterflies… but not for Birds.

Exactly what I am considering, having just purchased a R5 MK II with RF 24-70mm.
Sir can you review godox litemons la300bi And 300c. They released it and no one have review it yet.
Thanks. Regards.
Sir please creat a video on diamond ring photography
I wish you wouldn't have the background music - I find it difficult to hear what you say and also find it distracting.
Is there any alternative in Nikon for d850 sir?
Yes. Another D850! 🤩
Nikon Z8 ❤
@@PIXELVIILAGE i mean lens like this one sir.
Beautiful sound track...
8:02 Editor making mistakes again... 🥴

Canon fan boy!😂😂
Too big to carry on travels people will be happy to pull out their phones instead.
You wont get that quality
This lens isn't for you. Don't buy it. Use your cell phone. Remember, this lens is for professional use.

@@dreadnoughtphotowerkz that’s exactly what my original comment was, not suitable for travels.
