I didn't follow this tutorial but this practice evolution is the one I also naturally followed. it took me just about 9 months of everyday practice (about an hour or so)to really master this scratch and the backward stab. By mastering I mean being able to do every speed between really slow and fastest (for me) possible transformer cuts consistently.
The only thing that would make this video really good is having an first person/top-down perspective. It's really confusing for anyone who's learning to have to mirror this in their mind but the verbal explanations are top notch.
