Just found your channel. I really liked the hayrake tine knife build. I just started working on a hayrake knife build. I would guess that to harden and temper the blade is an oil quench?
Such an awesome knife....I’m not really using any power tool and grinding a blade into shape....I feel this is the way to do it like what you’re doing...thanks for sharing
You make it look so easy and I know it isn’t. Not only are your knives very beautiful but I love the way they are basically forged to finish. No offence to stock removal knives but this is next level. Can I commission one please, put me on your list!
@@oldsouthforge831 amazing. I’m in the U.K. if that’s not a problem? The knife I loved the most was the small trail knife. Could I ask what that might cost? Thank you
Hello. Me gustaría saber de que máquina o artefacto es el material de donde saco para hacer el cuchillo, porque tengo uno igual hace años tirado. Saludos desde Argentina. Excelente trabajo
You ought to dress up your anvil, spend two days fixing the edges and smooth out the top, seriously it's in a pretty sad state, great video awesome little knife, you have sum talent Sport
@@oldsouthforge831just made an observation no matter it's your anvil personally it's to rough for me but I'm not using it sorry I didn't mean to piss you off take it easy
@@oldsouthforge831 that good I thought you were upset me talking smack about your anvil, I'm super fussy about my Hay Budden and Peter wright and my vise's appreciate the response by the way you are a talented man I like your channel 🙏🇺🇲😎.

Nice knife. May I ask what you use to color the handle?
I am going to do a video on that soon
@@oldsouthforge831 Looking forward to it!
What did you use to color the antler?
Hey Josh! I use tea and sometimes a good leather dye. I think I have a video up where I use the tea method
I would be interested in buying a couple of those, without the handles.
How would I go about it?
I have a question at what color do you work this metal at
Какая красивая вещь получилась!
Outstanding!
It’s been along time between drinks,i was starting to get worried bloke
