Very impresive video Sue as usual!! Yes people died quite young in those days!! May God keep their souls in heaven!! Very good job!! It's worthy!!! God Bless !! Denis.
Wow what a video, lovely to see some headstones have withstood the passage of time ,1728,imagine if that headstone or the others could talk . What stories of life back then they could tell ,keep p the good work 👋👋🙏🙏🇦🇺from bxt in Oz,sorry I didn’t catch it live.
Sue I could listen to you doing these videos for hours ..you read there names and age out with full respect..your amazing at what you do..keep up the fantastic work..all the best sue.
Great tour Sue! It's good to see the ruins of the church have been stabilized so they don't get any worse. Even the cemetery looks pretty well cared for. Amazing old headstones!
Such an incredible find Sue! Some of those dates are mind boggling to say the least. It's sad that the ruins were locked up, as I'm sure we all would have loved seeing what mysteries may have been hiding in there. Thank you for sharing this awesome excursion with us and getting your feet wet again! Deb of Oz.
I am impressed. Some of them were living in 16++. Imagine what kind of life they had, what stories they kept…it is so nice to just imagine. I once visited an old grave and while reading the tombstone, I had this weird heavy feeling as if I can sense the owner of that grave. Do you feel that way too? But of course, I am not as brave as you Sue 😊
The only time I've ever gotten a weird "vibe" from a piece of ground was on an American Civil War battlefield, specifically the Stone Wall at Fredericksburg where the Irish Brigade got the hell shot out of it. The Irish pressed their attack on the Confederate line closer than anyone else did but the Confederate fire was just too much. The US military cemetery on the site is one of the saddest places I've ever been.
I just got notified. Was wondering why I couldn't chat then realized it was an hour late 😆. This was a great tour. Those old stones are gorgeous. Thanks so much Sue!
Great tour Sue! Love those 1700 stones. It still amazes me that they can be read! It is terrible that people go there to drink!!! Thanks 😊. 😂😂 I just got notification now at 5:28😂😂. Good thing I watch for you and Grave
Hello Sue , such a beautiful spot , it reminded me of the old Bonamargy Friary in Ballycastle :) I love some of the old grave stones you filmed the writing was so well done and to think its all done free hand back then. Thanks for the posting :)
Hi Sue, GV. Great tour. The church ruins and look to be in fairly good condition. Did you mention that there was some work being done to help preserve the ruins? So, the people working on the church had a party, and did not invite you and GV? How rude! Thank you very much, for another great video, take care.
Lol Michael, yes the local council seem to have restored the ruins, which is lovely but then they have to lock it up, pointless if we can't access the areas
@@SerenitySueGraveyards That is politicians for you, they seem to lack a certain amount of common sense, irregardless of country. Thank you very much for getting back to me. Have a great day.
Thanks Carol, I want people to experience my videos like a friend coming with me to visit those buried there, to share our respect for their lives and also to visit the beauty of our graveyards and cemeteries x x
Ths stone walls and enclosures always amaze me,the different colors. I have a stone/ rock flower garden..small one. A beautiful video. Thanx you guys❤😊❤😊
Thanks Billy, I just had this guy, correct ever word I say in a comment, he was from Rhode Island, some people think we all should talk the same, how boring eh 🤣

What a great video Sue, it's got to be frustrating to have struggle to see these beautiful places. What's the name of your theme song? It's beautiful. I tried searching "I Am The Ramblin Boy." But I couldn't find your song. Thank you for your work. David
@@SerenitySueGraveyards Definitely a pity but understandable as grave monuments (at least in some cases). I do wish though that they would somehow or other still make it possible to view or better view, even from a distance. Some are almost impossible to view now.
Another interesting video love watching y sending love to you both xx
Thanks so much Karen ❤️
Thanks Sue beautiful old church and some really old headstones but sadly so many young people 😞 ❤

When I see the graves of young adults who died just before and just after 1920 - I wonder if it was the great influenza pandemic.
Maybe, when you think about the recent pandemic will it be remembered as that? when people visit those graves too..
