- In this video, I'll share with you one of my favourite fun builds, using the Airburst Rocket together with 3 other strategems which make this build, fun and you'll be like an angel, watching over your team mates.
Updates & Notes:
- Effective against bots more now
- More effective as mentioned in video against Bots
- Armour can be changed to Medium, I like to use the medic that has +2 stims
- Sorry about the in game volume vs my commenting. Will tweak that in the next video

Yeah been running a loadout like this for 2 months now with RL-77, 380mm, mortar sent, Auto sent works really well you can easy solo clear the other half of the map
I am always looking to mix things up. I change my loadouts constantly. I will try a variation of this on bots, specifically. Thanks for the recommendation!

Same! I have my favorite setup, favorite armor that almost never changes (democracy protects op) but I'm always trying to change up stratagems for different situations. Got hilariously good with the spear. 😂
This is a great playstyle tutorial. EMS synergizes really well here showing you where to shoot. Eruptor might be a fun primary to "snipe" with since you're far away from the baddies
This is a very impressive use of the RL. Obviously I do not have a lot of users to compare, but it was very effective. However, your choice of armor is questionnable. I get that you need explosive resistance, but you manage to stay far of the battlefield and you do not use any guns with a lot of reccoil. I would recommand extra padding because it's way more effective for survivability. And since you stay that far of the ennemy I would also recommand marksman rifle. The scorcher is obviously better in a lot of cases but the marksman scope is the best.
Yeah, got what you meant about armour, I chose it cause I did screw up a few times and dang blew myself up and died with the medium armour. But will definitely try it again!
Orbital air burst is another awesome stratagem.

With the airburst rocket I like to go all I'm with chaff clear and run airburst rocket, airburst orbital (it sounds so good) and airstrike plus precision orbital for heavys and closing fabricators/nests. Great build though
Give it faster reload and maybe the recoiless’s stage reloading and it would be a solid B-A tier

I did however have a difficult time listening to our play by play commentary because the game audio was way too loud.

Nice vid! I tried almost this exact same loadout against bugs a while back, but instead of the rocket sentry I used the machine gun sentry simply for the short cooldown. Didn't go very well though, I kept getting snuck up on by bile spewers and stalkers lol.... I also made the mistake of wearing the new light armour from the viper commando bundle thinking the better handling would be worth it. It was not.
Going to give this a try.
Also just a tip, try to use up the ammo packets you find at POI's ( points of interest ). I know it wont give much ammo and it might give you 1 extra shot, but if no ones going to use them. Might as well.

Yes the airburst suddenly does not feel as effective as before the current patch.

Was playing with it and it definitely was affected by the bugs and hit box issues...
I use the grenade launcher and supply pack to helldive I feel like it's a lot better I get 300-400 kills on the hardest difficulty. You can shot the grenades up at the drop ships killing all the bots instantly
That is a good build. Cannot wait for the other GL types to come out (flame/stun)
This video focuses on the airburst only.
I do the airburst RL, eagle cluster bomb, auto cannon sentry and rocket sentry, I like to cycle between the launcher and the eagle strike, using one then the other, than the sentry's for the armored targets, sometimes I'll even use the 110 rocket pods or 500KG Instead of one of the sentry's
should have added the orbital airburst strike for the theme

Is it just me or the hud is giga big
29 kills from shooting at a breach, wow… standing in front of it with a blitzer would get you like 40, and I’m pretty sure a gas strike could do better. Airburst RL is absolutely not worth the support weapon and backpack slots
the devs going to watch this video and the next day will be a nerf. They are going to get off to how much fun you were having.
I pray they don't. But track record proving otherwise..
Using airburst as a random is a quick way to get kicked....
Wish it had slightly more AP.
Cluster Bomb is better ... too much work for so little kills
You can kill structures and big enemies with the RL-77 way more reliably than you can with the Eagle Cluster, it's also never on cooldown unless you loose your stratagem weapons all the time
@CaptainGrief66 I have definitely been able yo kill Hulks and Tanks more reliably with Cluster than Airbust Launcher.

@eggimonster it's consitently on Hulks and Tanks period. When it was first released it didn't even kill them wtf you talking about lol.
This whole video is just gameplay with some guy mumbling in the background; I have no idea what the fuck you were talking about over the gameplay sound.

BOOOOOOO never showing your kills. And also anyone who uses sentrys when it isn't a defense mission is a troll. I get killed more by mortars then anything.
I used EMP Mortars... dunno how you can get killed by those...
